The M&G at public places as far as I see , that are discussed on the board is a way for LE to make a entry into the world. If you have nothing to lose and do not mind if LE gets all your information like what you drive and where you live , then by all means go to M&G's.

The chances of getting busted are slim but slimmer still if you do not go. Folks looking for free or discounted pussy love M&G and ladies looking for business like them....Mods love them for the obvious reason! Originally Posted by WTF

You are right from a very simplistic stand point - don't do anything illegal and you don't have anything to worry about but announcing where and when... BUT
What if the police just want to show up and get pictures of the girls? They don't have to run around with cameras - Have you seen how tiny cameras are these days?

Or maybe just keep their eyes and ears open to get real world names and info to tie to handles - like from credit cards or from conversations? Now they can track you.

What if they show up and run license plates in the parking lot and then use the info from UC to put real names with hobby names and now know what cars they drive etc.? How easy would that make their job to be able to pull up to a incall location see your car is in a parking lot and have a picture of what you look like. Or to pull up at a notel and run all the plates and then know exactly what is going on where and who to ask for?

I could see if they were trying to build a case for organized crime or checking for underage girls but just for hooking? IDTS

Why so paranoid? What's the worse that could happen?

Are you kidding me? Nyotaimori or course! There should probably be an oyster bar and some chocolate treats for the ladies.

Let's say there is a guy or two here that is dedicated to stalking the girls here as a way of convincing them that what they do is wrong and let's say this guy can be scary ... it happens ... what if they are coming to the party? Now they can take the stalking and harassment to a higher level.
These are just a few reasons I could think of quickly. It is safer for all if there is some kind of screening. And I think you are right about needing to assume that LE will sneak by somehow. Your right there doesn't HAVE to be anything more complicated - just as hobbying doesn't need to involve screening or condoms - it is just safer that way! Originally Posted by 5T3V3

I pitched a fit and was basically told "Oh, that's just so-and-so, it's okay." No, it's not. I left and never attended another of their socials. These things are completely possible even with screening. Of course LE could be there and collecting information. But why on earth would you expose your credit card info or real name in a hobby social environment? Again, if you're doing things like this, perhaps learning a few lessons is not unwarranted. If you're unwilling to accept any of those possibilities, just don't go.

I would hope anyone attending a social has either thought these things through and either accepted it, or taken steps to mitigate their exposure (Uber, anyone?). I wasn't suggesting that you wouldn't be exposed. I was just offering a simple solution to the concern of incriminating yourself and taking the ride for it. That is, if the cops on scene aren't liars and don't decide that they just want to arrest you and claim you solicited. *shrug*

Ahh the irony of it all... You guys are so concerned about LE getting license plates, pictures, etc... But many of you don't bat an eye when seeing a pimped girl, with her pimp sitting on the parking lot, getting pictures, knowing for sure your handle, phone etc. sometimes even more.

Recently, we've had members blackmailed exactly like that.

What is really surprising about this thread is that Wakeup had not posted that everyone will get arrested.

I'll post more when I get home but I put on a number of Poker socials that turned out rather well

HPD loves to attend socials.

Don't do anything at the party or bring anything to the party that can get you arrested and all they can do is shut down the party. Originally Posted by texasjohn1965

It should be noted that the Christmas party that was raid was an ASPD event and had no relationship to ECCIE other than some guys were members of both boards. And the raid was a complete failure. They did not even bother check people for outstanding or priors. They just asked everyone to wait outside for a minute. A couple of illegals were taken in and a couple of girls who were entrapped were taken in but no charges were filed. Big waste of time and money on the part of vice. Nothing came of it except to give Wakeup something to post about. Shame too because the Christmas party had a long history and providing money to charities and toys to children's charities and hospitals. Some years the ASPD parties were the only large contributions for some charities.

Now for a number of years I have hosted a "poker social" in which some of the best poker players and poker players from the board got together for a tournament and social. Some people would play in the tournament some would just hang out and party. Never had an issue and everyone generally had a fun time. The only issue was Wakeup posting that the cops were going to show up. Other than that people had a good time. People came from as far away as Atlanta and Dallas for the events. Joliet Jake and I put a lot of work into finding good places and providing a good event. Will we have one again. Don't know, maybe.

I only have one worry about going - seeing a client or coworker. Being in a crowded place with hot sexy women is easily explainable to any LE, and they can run my name or plate all they want. But if some idiot single guy from the downtown office recognizes me and comes up and says "hey I didn't know you hobbied" now I'm paranoid for life.
