Doesn't matter. Emergencies come up and shit happens. Get out your feelings, she didn't have to apologize or offer you a discount but she still did and I respect her for that..

Please offer any reasonable alternative explanation if you can.
Alternative explanation:

Ms. Provider & Mr. Client have an appointment for 10:00 pm, @ 9:30 pm Ms. Provider has unavoidable conflict (an injured family member) that detains her from making appointment- she is detained in the presence of police, is very distraught, & then rides in the back of an EMS unit with Injured family member to the ER. There is no cellular reception at the hospital. It isn't until 4 hours later, when she exits the building that Ms. Provider gains cellular reception. She then contacts Mr. Client, to explain. Hence it technically being "the next day."
Later on that day, Ms. Provider re-focuses on her business, and also additionally needs to make up for the loss of income, due to the unavoidable conflict. So she posts ads.

So.... due to the timing, loss of cellular use, and emotional turbulence, it is very plausible that it is NOT contempt for her client, but a sequential amount of events happening that were beyond her control.

Then again, she could have put her world on pause for a moment to let her client know. (Self control? Over emotions? Some are capable, some are NOT. Not all situations nor abilities are equal.)
Since we're all talking about "what if's."
Since women are so great *sarcasm* at maintaining emotional stability in times of crisis. Heh. (Just an observation. It's usually the men who are stoic. However, there are exceptions to every rule.)

Disclaimer: I wasn't there, so I truly don't KNOW what went down, but talking in "hypotheticals."
Assuming a provider is vindictive or contemptive towards clients is an ASSumption that is a bit vile, imo, and not a general rule for providers. Again, some, not all.

(Who wants to come back to more chastisement? Damned if you do explain, damned if you don't there... And someone else points out, could have been avoided in the first place, but obviously WASN'T... Obvious & spilt milk now that the OP posted, right?)

She did her professional duty, offered to make it up (to the OP, yes, cb, I saw you hyperlink that other guy... who knows what the deal is with THAT guy/her.) .... In this very attempted alert/complaint thread.

What do you guys want, blood?

Oh, damn, I forgot.

I had other co-workers on different networks have issues too
