Protocol

FWIW Liz, I think GP and you would get along great in person.

Message boards are notorious for miscommunication and misunderstanding.

That could possibly happen if he contacted me in 3-6 months. lolol

But then again, I'd have to weigh my thoughts and decide if I could visit with him.

Although it is a transaction, it would require human interaction.... I am unsure how I would feel about that, and if I could even accept an appointment from him.

The very sad part is, if I did make an appointment with him, I would be very worried he might do a last minute cancel.
GP is a good guy. His board persona is sharper than it is in real life. Worthy of trust.

What is proper protocol for the following hypothetical?

do you impose and stay,

ABSOLUTELY NOT - she has a life and family.

or risk life and limb and venture outside to make it to god only knows where?
Well, uh, hello? You can't stay forever!!

My "run of the mill" clients are more courteous that what you just described. I doubt they could seek out ladies to take advantage of or justify snide remarks at a discussion board
Damn - I'm so disappointed, I packed my toothbrush and the storm really didn't happen!
