Here's a Subject They All Agree On!!!

I haven't lied. And I'm stable. I suggest you get your meds adjusted.

Don't forget to accompany your next episode of incoherent tax-related babbling with another claim that you once taught university-level economics.

That always bolsters your credibility so nicely!

Lost very few, Whacko.
I haven't lied. LOL! Uh-huh. Suuuuuure you haven't! And I'm stable. You mean that you're an obnoxious, lying, insecure ne'er-do-well who nevertheless has been adjudged "stable?" Got it! I suggest you get your meds adjusted. Hmmm! Funny that you should reach so readily for the "you need to get your meds adjusted" insult. Could that be because such fiddling always remains in the forefront of your thoughts, since you're constantly trying to get your doc to give you some powerful new stuff to help you deal with anxieties arising from your insecurity and self-esteem issues? Even more embarrassing, he has no concept of what MPC is or what it means in practice, yet claims to have taught university-level economics.

That would be like a math prof demonstrating that he doesn't have the foggiest clue about what the fuck the limit of a function is!

Can't give it up, eh, Halfbright? Well, carry on, but please tell your therapist.

(I don't think calling me "Halfbright" counts, professor! For that matter, neither does suggesting that I see a therapist. IJS ...)

You clearly deserve every bit of opprobrium and ridicule that may be directed your way. Just like Smith Barney earned money in those old TV ads featuring the late John Housemen, you gained it the old-fashioned way.

You EARNED it!

I may or may not deserve it, but you insist on lying about me. I've told you to go ahead, I don't care. But you really are overreacting. You're not healthy. You should talk to someone.
I may or may not deserve it, but you insist on lying about me. I didn't lie about a damned thing, as is obvious to anyone with more than insubstantial academic grounding in economics or finance. I've told you to go ahead, I don't care. LOL! But you really are overreacting. You're not healthy. Oh, my! Someone whose frustration and insecurity drove him to attempt to bolster his credibility by claiming to have taught a subject he knows nothing about has the temerity to lecture someone on what's psychologically healthy? TFF! You should talk to someone. Now that's always a good idea! I love talking. In fact, I'm heading out shortly for a rendezvous with one of my favorite sugar babies. I'm sure we'll do a fair bit of talking throughout the course of the evening. Hell, we might even speak more than one language! Originally Posted by CuteOldGuy

Tell me, Cap'n, why is this so important to you? Let's say, hypothetically, that everything you say about me is true. What if I was lying, and really never taught economics, never practiced law, never went to college. Maybe I only have my GED and drive a city bus for a living. Would that really make you feel better? Would you have "won" something? What would you have proved, and how do you think it should affect me?

Let's face it, you're a little off the wall on this. What are you after?
Tell me, Cap'n, why is this so important to you? Why was it so important for you to hurl non-stop, unprovoked insults to my intelligence, jackass? Let's say, hypothetically, that everything you say about me is true. No intelligent observer would doubt for a minute that everything I posted is true! What if I was lying, and really never taught economics, never practiced law, never went to college. It's conceivable that you did the latter two of those things, but you sure as hell never taught economics. Maybe I only have my GED and drive a city bus for a living. Would that really make you feel better? Would you have "won" something? What would you have proved, and how do you think it should affect me? What did you prove in in the past by opening fire on me with long fusillades of insults?

Let's face it, you're a little off the wall on this. Good Lord! The clown whose frustration and insecurity drove him to claim that he taught a subject he knows nothing about now decides to opine on what constitutes "off-the-wall" behavior? Fucking hilarious! What are you after? Oh, I'm not sure I'm "after" anything. But it would be sort of nice to be able to discuss policy with people who make an effort to understand the issues and engage in informed debate, and who can manage to refrain from continually insulting other people's intelligence. Surely you recall the old British saying that if the consequences for doing so are no greater, you might as well be hung for a sheep as for a lamb. So why settle for merely claiming that you taught university-level economics? Why not go all-in? Go big! Tell us that you're a Nobel laureate in economics!

(After all, that wouldn't be any less credible, would it?)

What's next in the hit parade? Lectures from Martin Shkreli on business and professional ethics?

And he isn't remotely capable of "intelligent posting" and "substantive discussions" of tax policy, since he never even bothered to learn anything about the tax proposal (FairTax) that he's so obsessed with. He erupts in visceral fashion if you point out the myriad fallacies and wild exaggerations served up in the advocacy books and on the bullshit websites. He's particularly baffled and confused by all that "embedded taxes" stuff. In fact, over the years, he has posted time and again that the 30% FairTax can be added on to the existing price of goods and services and not cause consumer prices to rise, since previously "embedded taxes" disappear and "cancel out" the new consumption tax. It's just like alchemy!
