Lets see,
candidate spent $600,000
Ryan's SuperPAC spent $2.7 mil

I'm not, and I suspect a majority of the voters aren't either. Originally Posted by LexusLover

Ellen, was that an actual Time magazine cover or simply BS? First, I'm surprised that anyone really listens to Ocasio-Cortez outside of her district. She is about as far left-wing as you can get and hardly represents the Democratic platform. Second, I doubt many of the Democratic House or Senate members up for election in November are going to praise Ocasio-Cortez, so I doubt her appeal to voters in parts of Queens and the Bronx NY will mean much to voters in other parts of the country.
"Despite President Donald Trump’s repeated claims, Democrats are not advocating open borders, not even the ones who are calling to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The small minority of Democrats in Congress calling for the end of ICE have all said they would like to have many of ICE’s functions redistributed to other, existing government agencies. None has called for abandoning border enforcement."

If you look at the platforms of Democrats across the nation running for office, only a handful would beat all similar to that of Ocasio-Cortez. Let's let the voters decide. I would not vote for her. I would not vote for Bernie Sanders in all likelihood. But I am concerned that so many young voters seem to be endorsing socialism.
Yep, I can just see it now - Cortez and Warren - are going to be the "new" faces of the dem party. I can't wait to see what the blue collar dems are going to do.
