Ellen, was that an actual Time magazine cover or simply BS? First, I'm surprised that anyone really listens to Ocasio-Cortez outside of her district. She is about as far left-wing as you can get and hardly represents the Democratic platform. Second, I doubt many of the Democratic House or Senate members up for election in November are going to praise Ocasio-Cortez, so I doubt her appeal to voters in parts of Queens and the Bronx NY will mean much to voters in other parts of the country.

I'm not pushing O'Rourke but I want to point out that his platform is totally different than the platform of Ocasio-Cortez. If you look at the platforms of Democrats across the nation running for office, only a handful would beat all similar to that of Ocasio-Cortez. Let's let the voters decide. I would not vote for her. I would not vote for Bernie Sanders in all likelihood. But I am concerned that so many young voters seem to be endorsing socialism.
