Furthermore, the inmates in American prisons are divided among racial lines. American prison gangs like the Aryan Brotherhood and it's many offshoots have many thousands of members, most of them white nationalists/white supremacists.

The fact of the matter is that something needs to be done to reduce gun violence. Doing nothing solves nothing. It's be like if we allowed ourselves to be taken out by the common flu. Yes, there will be deaths, but, vaccines that get created each year using the probable strongest strain reduces deaths.

Median housing is $119k but that doesn't really matter. Houses on the East side go for $40-60k. The West side brings the median values up.

Median salary is $43k. Cops only make $38k in salary but they get 80% of that salary in retirement pay and other nice State benefits not enjoyed by the median salary earners. And, don't even think the cops aren't getting cash benefits from all that goes on there. I know these guys, I see what they're driving, and where they're living, and what all they're doing. The $38k doesn't cover any of that.
