I reject the weird, incoherent, irrational and outlandish accusations the president of our nation is spouting. I am not asocialist or a Marxist or a hater of my country. But because I am a Democrat our President accuses me of being those things. We also support a frugal, lean and service-oriented government, not a bloated government that feeds on special interest extravagance. I want my government prepared to lead and solve problems when the circumstances demand civic-minded leadership and problem-solving. I am hoping we can make some progress regarding the complex and emotional issues of racial equality. That doesn’t mean I would support sacrificing any other demographic in the process of trying to be successful in our quest to settle racial issues. Also, I do not hate law enforcement, nor do I think we should unfund the police. But because I am a Democrat the president accuses me of supporting looters and violent protesters and cheering on violence directed at law enforcement.
