I don't think he meant that like, I don't deserve a dog, I think he meant humanity in general. Its a common saying - we don't deserve dogs because they're so selfless, and we're so selflish... they're so loving and loyal, and so many humans aren't.

I've only had rescues before, I've seen the trauma that humans instill on our four-legged friends and it disgusts me.

The woman with the litter of puppies started sending them home this week since they turn 8 weeks on Friday.. She's been kind of pushing me to take him early, and I'm like - we agreed on 10 weeks, I can't take him yet. Frustrating...

True. Very rarely is a dog bad…..it’s the treatment and training they received that makes or breaks them.

Unfortunately, I see way too much of the cruel treatment they receive from humans.
