Trump calls for Mar-a-Lago affidavit release

When some people drink the koolade they guzzle it. The maga crowd just mimicks their leader. Need they be reminded that Trump appointed the director of the FBI and he said he’d only get the best people…so since he supposedly delivered on everything he promised we have to assume he delivered on the best people promise too. How many classified documents did the other 44 presidents take home with them as souvenirs of their vacation in DC? None. How many did Donald take? More than 186. How many is he entitled to as a now private citizen. The same as you and I, none.

Regardless of your politics, one can’t claim to be in favor of law and order and pooh pooh the defund the police movement if they’re going to break the law and start a defund the fbi movement as their response.

Trump creates every one of the issues that he finds himself in by thinking that rules that apply to others don’t apply to him. We’ve entered the “it was a perfect call” phase of the search warrant raid. Yes, the world is just so unfair to him. They’ll make it up to him by giving him the best cell, a cell so nice that the staff of the supermax in Colorado will walk up to him in his cell as say “sir, I have worked here since the facility opened and I’ve never seen such a nice cell.” It’ll be the nicest cell probably in the history of incarceratng people in this country. But as long as he’s in it I don’t give a shit if they put drapes on the wall and paint his toilet/sink appliance gold.

Darwin would love to reach down from his eternal resting place and give you a big old kiss for not only proving his theory but for proving that it doesn’t take generations.

Don’t try to wow me with your rhetoric, wow me with your facts and proof…and if you are too stupid to not realize that “the doj is corrupt” isn’t a fact until you furnish proof then it is in fact true that you can’t fix stupid

It’s always amusing to hear those looking forward to the boogaloo which is grounded in antigovernment cling so tightly to a government leader (or former leader). Maybe someday you’ll be able to formulate a thought without having to wait for your leader to tell you what it’s supposed to be.
... Trump is the Odds-On FAVOURITE to Win in 2024!

Yep, and the Heavens Gate crowd thought that 1997 was the odds on favorite year to buy a pair of Nike’s and wait for the ufo to come pick them up. That didn’t work out so well for them them though the “odds” were in their favor. May you be smart enough to cut the koolade off before buying sneakers and hopping into the top bunk
... And yet - me comment still stands. .. The FAVOURITE.

You might wanna watch yer insults, mate.

Merrick Garland must go. There is nothing in the affidavit that justifies raiding a former president. A shocking, divisive action that suggests the partisan abuse of law enforcement power during an election campaign.

Jonathon Turley - This is going to leave a mark for the libtards

The most remarkable thing that occurred on Friday is that nothing occurred on Friday. Only a week before, the Justice Department insisted that the court should not release a single line of the affidavit and that any substantive disclosure would unleash of parade of horribles, from damaging national security to sacrificing witnesses.

For those of us who have litigated cases against the Justice Department, it was an all-too-familiar claim by a department notorious for over-classification and over-redaction arguments.

For a week, media pundits mouthed the same exaggerated claims and challenged those of us who argued that it was clearly possible to release a redacted affidavit; liberals suddenly shuddered at the thought of doubting the Justice Department. Sites like Above the Law claimed that calls for greater transparency and a redacted affidavit were akin to “publishing the nuclear codes on the back of every milk carton.” Even after the judge agreed that a redacted affidavit could be released in the public interest, experts balked at the notion as dangerous in light of Justice’s earlier warnings.

As I noted earlier, affidavits contain background legal and factual sections that ordinarily can be unsealed without disclosing sensitive information. That is precisely what happened here. Pages of the affidavit were released that confirmed the legal claims as well as some of the factual allegations. As in other cases, the Justice Department had falsely claimed that no disclosures could be made without redacting so much as to make the document unintelligible. Yet, no one seemed to notice.

Something else did not happen. In rejecting Justice’s claims that nothing in the affidavit should be released, U.S. Magistrate Bruce Reinhart set out an appellate process by which he could overrule Justice in ordering disclosures beyond those proposed by the department. Given Justice’s well-documented history of over-redacting, it was a promising start.

Then, over the course of the week, media reported a series of leaks of information that clearly was part of the affidavit. At the same time that the government was demanding total secrecy, it was selectively leaking details seemingly designed to put Trump on the defensive.

NEWS: Preliminary win for President Trump in his legal challenge to Senile Biden’s unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful home raid by the corrupt DOJ/FBI:

U.S. District Court “provides notice of its preliminary intent to appoint a special master in this case,” subject to further briefing and argument.

Won’t your day just be ruined when the special master allows the FBI to keep the evidence that they seized. Getting a special master isn’t a victory.. it’s just someone that you’ll claim is a rino or democrat when they don’t decide the way you want them to.

Right, wrong or indifferent your boy is going to end up doing jail time.
... We'll See! ...
