My honest opinion is that for those of us that have SO's, the poor guys just want us to be safe and come home to them safely. I can see if a lady gets a request from someone for a verification that isnt reputable...it can be done without giving so much information as it is STILL looking out for someone elses best interest.

Like it or not, that is her policy. Whether she follows her own policy all the time is also completely up to her. She is a grown woman and will run her business the way she sees fit. It may not align with how others think she should run her business, but that's the beauty of having your own business...You can do whatever the fuck you want and not worry about what other people think or say.

We can all wax poetic about how karma has a way of making its rounds, but...what's the point? People have chimed in & given their collective two cents. I say let it go.

I need to clarify something.....

I was aware that she normally does not give references and even has it posted on her webpage...BUT I have previously had a nice chat with this lady a couple years ago and she agreed to go ahead and give me references.....so for the past time,it has all been cool....the giving & taking of references between us.

I harbor no ill feelings and I do respect her stance{I just don't understand it}......I am just frustrated that a provider or her SO would not fathom how important it is to share reference info with her peers...

My comment about Karma was not referring to the lack of reference she refused to give. That is a person's perogative, yes. My comment was made in reference to the fact that she refused to give said client a reference and then called him for an appointment herself. Refusing to give a reference is one thing, but undermining another provider just to get a buck, well, is a low move.
