TEL AVIV— Hamas attacked Israeli forces in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday and Israel responded with airstrikes, the Israeli military said, marking the first time Hamas has successfully attacked troops since a cease-fire went into effect.

Hamas militants targeted troops inside Israeli-controlled areas of Gaza with an antitank missile and gunfire, the Israeli military said. The military said the attack was against troops dismantling infrastructure in a part of the city of Rafah over the so-called yellow line, the area Israeli troops retreated to after the cease-fire.
In response, the military launched strikes it said were aimed at dismantling tunnel shafts and other military structures used by Hamas.

The military said the incident was a “blatant violation of the cease-fire agreement, and [the Israeli military] will respond firmly.”

And now the Trump admin is trying to get fuzzy on the dates/details of the hostage return so as to not draw red lines that will be blown past.

JV is asking Israel for patience, contrasted against Trump threatening to eradicate Hamas

Trump just confirmed that if Hamas do not cooperate and agree to their end of the bargain, that other nations in the region will be forced to “straighten out” Hamas.

But Trump says “NOT YET!”, and believes there is still hope for Hamas to do the right thing.

Trump is managing the situation, and as I have been preaching, this deal will not fail, because 59 nations and the entire Arab/Muslim world already agreed to this deal to end this conflict. If Hamas don’t want to cooperate, they will be obliterated by Israel and perhaps other Arab nations in the region, then the peace deal will press on after that.

It’s not just Trump and Israel standing up to Hamas, essentially the entire world has turned against them and agreed they must be disarmed, either the easy way, or the hard way.

You are watching Trump utilize “peace through strength”. Either you submit and agree to peace, or you will be killed. Simple as that.
