HIGH VOLUME or LOW VOLUME PROVIDERS?

I see less than 10 people a month. A little more than half are clockwork regulars. I don't remember where i saw this but someone posted that about 80% of their money comes from 20% of their clients. I would say that is accurate. When I started I definitely tried to see more than one person per day and just ended up sore and tired and the return rate for later appointments was dismal. I view high vs low as more to do with the impression you get. If I was seeing 5 guys a day and was as fresh and ready for the last as the first then how would you know? In business, the 80/20 rule applies to just about every product or service category. This statement by LiliAnna proves to me that this is like any other business. One of the other rules is that the lower the cost the more you have to sell – which is the driver of high volume versus low volume. The Ford dealer has to sell more than the Mercedes dealer.

Good post Memdal. Fact is, some guys really don't give a flip about how many trains a lady pulls in...some do. I for one, would shoot myself if I had to see 5 guys a week, every week much less in a day.

The ONLY thing that keeps this business fun for me, is not doing it full-time. I can go 2 weeks without a single date, and then go on tour and see 8 in 5 days. Averages out.

If I were stuck locally, I would certainly have to lower my rates to about 3 an hour because that's what the market dictates.

I see about one a day for 4 days of the week when I am home

when I travel I see 2 a day{and once in awhile I will see 3}......gotta at least cover my expenses and make a small profit

I'm not interested in seeing someone who is doing 8-10 a day. I love it in the morning, so I get up early!

If I wanted to lie around all day seeing 8-10 guys I'd go work at a brothel! I'm sure it would be fun for a while, but I prefer to limit myself to 3 guys a week. I don't want to get burnt out and I like being mentally and emotionally refreshed so I can provide better a better quality encounter.
