You know JR no one gives a flip about how they did it in the military, jesus how did the world survive until the Military had it all figured out for us. There is a real simple solution to this problem of screening, if you dont want to screen dont, you are free to choose anyone else you want to. You just have to constantly try and attack certain members of this board why is that, you like your ladies more compliant, dont like em when they have a thought or comment, you have become my project for 2012. Just like Gault, I am going to make you a special project.

Jackie and MsEllen may choose to ignore the intelligence gathering capability of the modern police department which has been taught to them by the military or others.
I am not LE, but I was in the military and selected by a large defense contractor for employment prior to my discharge. The world has been, for the most part, controlled by the military and/or police for as long as civilization has existed. It doesn't matter if we like the situation; it is as it is.
The idea that I am trying to get across is that, if possible, we should strive to stay out of their field of observation because every contact with an individual is recorded.
The last time I was stopped by LE I smiled and said "Yes, Sir". I respect the officers position. Why invite trouble? It is the system, not the individual officer that I am discussing here.
I do screen, just not in the same way that others do. I appreciate UTR women for my contacts. They are harder to find, but the wait is worth it.
Seriously, I like both Jackie and MsEllen (never met either); I happen to differ with both of them because I believe that 411 could cascade into a full knowledge about any individual who used their service. Why risk the consequences; there are other methods of screening. This discussion is about why one would reject a provider. I believe that screening is necessary, but the method of screening used is a personal reason for rejection.
Whatever method of screening one uses is a personal preference. In this age of instant information we all should avoid providing any information that we do not want published for everyone else to see.
For everyone, listen to the little small voice in your head. Ladies, it is OK to pass up a client, for any reason - no matter how small (joke intended). Guys, listen to your big head, not your little head.
This is a case where we should listen to our intuition first rather than be regretful later and say: I knew there was something wrong, but I went ahead anyway.
Better to be safe than sorry.
Play safe my friends,
JR
