For the gents who can't pre-book, what about pre-screening? You might get lucky...

She mentioned that I'd broken the record for the longest time between screening and scheduling "ever." All's well that ends well, that time. But there have been at least a couple over the years to whom I supplied screening information but
never booked.
The second is that pre-screening may not help all that much, since screening itself often isn't the problem, particularly now with P411. I know that some ladies still like to check with a few references in addition to P411, and that's fine, but most don't. In fact, some don't even check your profile. (Although the last time that happened to me, I had sent a request through P411 so at least the email she received identified how
many OKs I had, even if not
from whom.) If they don't call or email a couple of the ladies who provided OK's, the screening process with P411 takes just a minute or two.
The
real problem with short-notice appointments is hearing back from her quickly, so that if she's unavailable you can ask someone else. Understandably, many ladies have jobs, families, or something else that prevents her from getting an email right away. Most of the time I planned ahead, but sometimes I had an unexpected opportunity on short notice -- e.g., figuring out at 10:00 am that I could see someone at 5:00 pm the same day. And often the ladies didn't receive my email inquiry at 10:00 am until it was too late. You can email two or three different ladies, which I tried sometimes. That improved the odds of getting a response before the window of opportunity closed, but some ladies still don't like that. Or you can give her only a short time to respond before moving on to someone else. So -- knowing that a lady often can be available on short notice, or that she's usually able to respond quickly to inquiries, or at least that she won't be offended by being one out of 2 or 3 you email in order not to miss that window of opportunity, may still be important for those who usually play on short notice.
And Chevalier, darling I've missed you!!![Huglove](images/smilies/modern/huglove.gif)
