Bill, I don't need a "paper" (as you have asked for, which any educated person knows cannot be produced) to independently have the ability to comprehend that a great deal is known about the pathogenesis of HIV, and, I agree with you that many important details remain to be explained clearly. However, a complete and absolute understanding of the pathogenesis of ANY disease is
NOT (by any stretch of any "word game" you might desire to play), an accepted scientific prerequisite to knowing the disease's cause.
MANY infectious agents have been associated with the disease they cause long (years) before their pathogenic mechanisms have been fully understood or discovered and fully explained. As an example, the causal mechanisms in many diseases, including tuberculosis and hepatitis B, are poorly understood, but the pathogens responsible are very well established.
Good luck in your own efforts also, Mr. Bill, enjoy beating your head against that brick wall. As I am sure many others have already decided for themselves, I too am done with you now.
