Want to talk about Dumb Ass Fucks?

So if someone has a difference of opinion you resort to insulting ones intelligence.

You should read the bill. I bet you could not comprehend the clause 7 of section 8 crap that is in there. These politicians have been hiding crap in those things that even the smartest people in world would go WTF is this shit.. Originally Posted by Artist Formally Known As

Here's the bill in it's entirety...

I was thrilled with the Supreme Court ruling on Healthcare. I didn't agree with the justification that Roberts came up with, but the outcome suited me just fine.My understanding is that using the "tax" justification, congress will have the ability to bring the law up in both houses of congress and is immune to the filibuster. Which is important because there is no way the republicans will have a majority of 60 seats in the senate after the next election. That is IMPORTANT because I'm sure the democrats are taking notes on how to shut down the senate as the minority party and make it totally useless in running this country. After all......the important thing is to make the party in power look bad....even if it brings down the country!

I find it amazing that conservatives have such a problem with Americans sharing the load of ensuring that each and every person in this country has proper access to healthcare. HEALTHCARE is care that is designed to cure sickness...not just ease pain as many emergency room activities are consumed with. Emergency room care is not going to do anything about curing cancer. So no....we all don't have access to healthcare in this country. Not even close!

I used to be a conservative republican. But today's republicans are so far to the right of Nixon, Eisenhower etc. that they are off in a deep end that is so consumed by money, greed, waging war and no concern for their fellow American other than their immediate family. Sad!
Tax, fine...doesn't really matter what it's called, unless of course you're a Republican behind in the polls and in a need of a new smear. Reality is that it all goes in to the same government general fund, and only about 1.2% of the population with end up paying it.

Women's health? Who cares!
Elderly and the poor? Fuck em! It's their fault.
Military? Oh no you d'int!

Hypocrite.

"Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Thursday that “dire circumstances” are the reason he’s willing to make military retirees pay more for health care benefits."

McCain, a decorated Vietnam veteran and former prisoner of war who is the ranking Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, has drawn fire from retirees because of his suggestion that they can pay more for Tricare health coverage for themselves and their families.

“Military retirees and their families deserve the best possible care in return for a career of military service, and nothing less,” McCain said on the Senate floor during debate on the $526 billion defense authorization bill for fiscal 2012.

“But we cannot ignore the fact that health care costs will undermine the combat capability and training and readiness of our military if we don’t begin to control the cost growth now,” he said.

Ronald Reagan Quotes
You left out a few Reagan quotes...

1. "Trees cause more pollution than automobiles."
2. "Facts are stupid things."
3. "I am not worried about the deficit. It is big enough to take care of itself."
4. “...I went down to (Latin America) to find out from them and (learn) their views. You’d be surprised. They’re all individual countries.”
5. "It's true hard work never killed anybody, but I figure, why take the chance?"
6. "All the waste in a year from a nuclear power plant can be stored under a desk."
7. "We are trying to get unemployment to go up, and I think we're going to succeed."
8. "One picture is worth 1,000 denials."
9. "What does an actor know about politics?"
...and my personal favorite:
10. "How can a president not be an actor?"

...and for better or worse...

• As a Hollywood actor, Reagan had been the head of a labor union, the Screen Actors Guild, and was proud of the higher pay and benefits he negotiated for his members. As president, he praised labor unions, saying, “Collective bargaining…has played a major role in America's economic miracle. Unions represent some of the freest institutions in this land. There are few finer examples of participatory democracy to be found anywhere.”

• Franklin D. Roosevelt was Reagan’s political hero and he voted for him for president 4 times. As president, he said, “F. D. R. was an American giant, a leader who shaped, inspired, and led our people through perilous times.”

• As governor of California, Reagan signed into law the largest state tax increase in history up to that time. It increased California taxes by a third, including an increase in the top income tax rate. There were other tax increases as well, which raised the top rate to 11 percent from 7 percent when he took office, a 57 percent increase.

• Also as governor, Reagan signed into law California’s first law permitting legal abortion – at the behest of his two most conservative advisers, Ed Meese and Lyn Nofziger. On other social issues as well, Gov. Reagan was far more progressive than his image. For example, he authorized conjugal visits for prisoners for the first time in the state and broadened environmental protection.

• In 1981, Reagan proposed a large tax cut. But when deficits became a problem, he supported tax increases and signed 11 of them into law. Among them was the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982, the largest peacetime tax increase in American history.

• Reagan supported an increase in the capital gains tax to 28 percent from 20 percent as part of the Tax Reform Act of 1986.

• In 1986, Reagan supported an immigration reform that gave amnesty to 3 million illegal aliens. During the 1984 election, Reagan said, “I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and who have lived here even though sometime back they may have entered illegally.”

• At the Reykjavik Summit with Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev in 1986, Reagan, to the horror of his advisers, offered to abolish nuclear weapons. To their relief, Gorbachev declined the offer.
