Albany Area

If I see a review from ALBANY area I don't even bother to read it. ALBANY probably has the same feeling for reviews from BUFF. and ROCH.
Why should we waste our time reading about a provider who in most cases will never visit our area?

JACK..It's a different story if you travel to other areas, but for most of us who see providers locally it's just clutter on my screen.

If I had considered the loyalty to Escorts.com & Bestgfe by Hobbyist & Providers in the Albany & Hudson Valley, back when I talked the Admin into creating the Upstate area, It certainly would have not been named that, I could have been selfish and called it the Capital District Area.

However as it has turned out the western part of the state grew much faster.

If all would step back consider what Perfect Gentlemen said, we all find it cumbersome to wade through relentless uninteresting data, we would all benefit from a split.

I suggest we combine forces and all request a split from the Admin. I have known Skudd for quite awhile he really has a handle on the Hudson valley and no doubt will beat the drum to get increase the membership by hobbyist and providers alike, should they not have to weed through data they have no interest in.

I have inquired as to how a survey can be set up to let all members and providers weigh in on a split of the area.

I reiterate my support for splitting "Upstate NY" into "Western and Central NY" and "Capital District and Hudson Valley". I suspect a deterrent for the Admin could be the big headache of how to divide up the old threads between the two new regions.

When I was moderating Pennsylvania, and it was split into four regions (Erie, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh), it was relatively painless because there were not too many old threads. BTW, the split in Pennsylvania has not succeeded in generating more traffic.

as you said it was not an issue for the lack of traffic, maybe there is no interest in it to begin with. We here and the HV have tried to get providers on here and the same answer is herd, " it is for Buffalo and Syracuse " the battle we have been fighting.
