The VP Debate::

Ryan's lack of specifics reminded me of how NOBama answered questions during his pre-first term campaigning. I guess the liberals forgot that part?
This was my first exposure to Ryan...actually I thought he did OK. He had his talking points down, and came off professionally

However he was no match to Biden....and just like Biden, I tend to laugh when I hear pre-program talking points being deliever.

There were a number of points, which have already been mentioned, when I felt..."way to go Joe".

Regarding polls, let's face it, the general American public switches opinion based upon the latest fart...and that goes both ways.

I still shake my head with all these "undecided". Exactly what are they looking for, that has not already been discussed, I suppose the remaining debates may be possible.Unless they are waiting to hear more specifics from Romney camp. But let's face it, all these detail points,on both sides, about supporting education, getting XXX million jobs, etc. To the average American, I'm guessing those are hard to filter out the truth vs just politican talk

Should be an interesting next couple of weeks!!!

Question: Was I the only one who found the following exchange at the end of the debate really off-putting?

Martha Raddatz: I recently spoke to a highly decorated soldier who said that this presidential campaign has left him dismayed. He told me, quote, "The ads are so negative and they are all tearing down each other rather than building up the country." What would you say to that American hero about this campaign?

Ryan: First of all, I'd thank him to his service to our country…And then I would say, you have a president who ran for president four years ago promising hope and change, who has now turned his campaign into attack, blame and defame. You see, if you don't have a good record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone to run from. That was what President Obama said in 2008. It's what he’s doing right now. Look at all the string of broken promises…

The question was about negativity, and Ryan, without blinking, immediately launched into a bitter negative attack. I don't know how many people noticed this, but it sure struck me as badly off in tone.

This struck me also as very hypocritical and a non answer by Ryan, who does the very thing that the soldier was saying turned him off.
As usual the republicans are delusional claimng Ryan won Biden won and righted the ship but Ryan did what he needed to do which was to present himself as a plausible president. History repeats itself again Chaney righted the ship during Bush V Kerry and now Biden has done the same
