Reagan did what Obama refuses to do. He compromised with a democratic congress. He was conservative and did what he could. Bush 2 was not a fiscal conservative and neither were the republicans in congress during his term so I agree with you on that.

I would argue that if a president is claiming to represent everyone then he should be willing to be questioned by people from all points of view. If he can't answer the difficult questions then he should rethink his positions. Hiding from them just demonstrates the weakness of his policies.

I don't disagree with you here. I was just saying though that a politician isn't really going to waste their time trying to cater to a demographic that isn't going to vote for him/her. In this case, I would say that there's really no way anyone who regularly watches the FOX news network would vote for President Obama so why bother trying to appease them?
