Reagan did what Obama refuses to do. He compromised with a democratic congress. He was conservative and did what he could. I would argue that if a president is claiming to represent everyone then he should be willing to be questioned by people from all points of view. If he can't answer the difficult questions then he should rethink his positions. Hiding from them just demonstrates the weakness of his policies.
