Those of you ladies who think this is a joke or something really need to grow the fuck up. I would never "snicker" if a woman was being continuously harassed and bothered by someone, even if it was JJ or Ze.. I really don't care for you guys but I would never LAUGH about something like that. It could turn into a potentially dangerous situation but that's funny to some of you... You can really feel however you want about it.... I could really care less if you think it's funny or not.. I know something needs to be done about this guy and if I need to go to the Admin with all the voicemails and texts and everything else I have, I will. I don't need another hooker's validation lol. To put this all in context for your average eccy reader. I watched Jack the Giant Slayer on-demand last night. It was pretty lame but I must mention that there were multiple stalks involved and a little drama yet nothing like the drama here on eccy sometimes.

Thank you everyone that publicly and privately appreciated my previous post. I hope it helped some people that were reading possibly learn how to clean up this issue if they also find themselves victim to a hacking situation. At the least it hopefully is a proactive step in the right direction for a situation that can make a person feel pretty helpless.

Personally I have never met much less spoken to either party involved, outside possibly a reference request situation. I have absolutely no dog in this fight when it comes to the people themselves. However, I do know that a computer hacking can feel the same as someone breaking into your home and riffling through your things. Also, as someone that has seen very close friends experience stalker or harassment behavior (a few that are not even in the hobby), the worst thing you can do is get into verbal defense mode because it fuels the fire and will more likely escalate the situation. I have seen the first hand trauma that this sort of behavior can cause. It is not good and despite whatever may have happened to make some feel it was deserved I apologize if I gave the impression I might be in agreement with that sort of thing.

To clarify my percepective, Cyborg didn't semi confess he flat out admitted with his purposely chosen double negatives that he DID do it. Since it had yet to be mentioned it appeared to possibly be unnoticed.That kind of posting is what I like to refer to as 'a self alert'. Sometimes when people tell you who they are on an open forum it is best to take whatever is stated into consideration. The mods on Eccie won't save you from hackers because they technically can't. It's not because they have some sort of vendetta against anyone or because they don't care. Trust me if there was a block button for that stuff they would be all over it since this only causes more behind the scenes work for them (that they are not paid for) so that we can continue to come on here and be so openly opinionated about each other with the ease we have now.

Think about it- we now know that cyborg may hack into your stuff, you know nothing else more other than a fake name and info like he states he provides. Hackers are good at hiding their identity, much better than you or I. If they delete him he will just become a new handle(or three) and we lose our opportunity to choose individually how we might interact (or not) with this person.

The Internet is a hackers first home, they are the big kids on this playground. You are not likely to be able to lock them out, but you can clean up your computer and stop poking the hornets nest. Hopefully they will focus on someone or something new. Trying to teach someone that finds that sort of intrusion funny how unfair the actions are is an indomitable task.

I think this thread should be closed. Everyone no matter what they have done in the past does not deserve to be violated through the internet. She said her side he admitted it himself and now everyone knows. I don't wish bad on anyone but at the same time I do not understand how hacking is permitted through here. That issue should be ZERO tolerance regardless of the past....
