Now, imagine Shay with a cocktail shaker in hand, dressed pretty much like that (minus the wings).

*sigh* Those martinis always tasted especially good....
I miss casey of Dallas.. From those days..She was a blast..

That was the golden time. I knew it then, and the more time in the current day affairs, the more I still believe that to be true.
Those were good times before the Wal-mart crowd rolled in.

Thanks for all your contributions back then, 32. I learned a lot from you. Maybe we will bump into each other again next weekend if you are going.

Hey 32, I sure remember reading you back in the day. Glad you're still around and hopefully well.
I was on ASPD back in those days under a different name. I was certainly not memorable then, , nor am I now. And that's the way I prefer it. But you left out two names that were very important to me:

1. The original Hunter of Dallas.... Wow.... both versions....
2. Hoss... I never met him personally but he gave me quite a bit of guidance and help. I don't know if he is still around in another form, but if he is he gets a special "thank you" from me.

Actually I found a lot of the guys very helpful back then. The level of camaraderie certainly seemed different. For a guy just getting into the hobby back then ASPD was a light shining in the darkness.

FWIW

nice to hear more info from the early days. Not quite sure what was set straight in this post by baskin, but glad to read it.

2004 for me and my longest living post about members from ASPD keeps on trucking!!

I really felt hamstrumg as a mod on ECCIE without that latitude which is much needed in so many instances when dealing with basic stupid.

Everyone can work a computer now, and it truly dumbed down ASPD in the mid 2000's. I suspect the same thing has happened here. That's why me and many others left.....it wasn't just the repetitive nature of info.....it was just that too many dumbfucks found a keyboard.
There are Golden Ages foe a lot of different categories......the Golden Age od ASPD was 2000-2003. It was so much fun, I I will always cherish the memories.
Be safe, and best wishes to all of you! Originally Posted by 32Flavors

Wow,

I just found this thread. Lots of old familiar names and bringing back familiar faces. It certainly is a different atmosphere here than in 2000-2004...different, and not all of it good.

I found the chatroom right after Amber got it running. She made a couple of us Channel Ops. Not long later someone made me a forum mod for one of the private forums...still no clue who or why.

I do miss a few of the ladies: Taylor4Ply, Scarlett, Piper CSP, Catherine Adair...and a few others that I need a while to recall their names.

Ragin Cajun and I (EZ on ASPD) were talking about Catherine Adair last night. He was jealous that he never saw her. Drop dead gorgeous redhead. I haven't found one like her on ECCIE. Still looking.
I was celebrating my birthday and the finalization of my divorce at one of Ragin's Happy Hours and Piper (there have been a few) pulled a chair on the dance floor. She proceeded to give me a lap dance and began to strip. That girl got completely nekkid. That might have flown at the usual place but this was a bar on Northwest Hwy. Not separate and upstairs like the regular place. The bartender freaked and Piper walked outside totally in the buff. That was a bit much even for me.
