New Private Forum Proposal

Happy New Year ECCIE!

The forum itself is not a reality yet but I wanted to pitch the idea nonetheless. Its been on my mind for a while and I think the time to move forward has come. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

The People's Choice Forum

Main Concept:
- Location Based Provider Ads (midcities, downtown, far north, far south, etc.... )
IF the providers would learn how important LOCATION is to most guys this would be a non issue if they would post a more specific and searchable location in the ads. Something like Dallas is as worthless as saying Texas. .

- FBSM Specific Ads

Since you are asking for this, and the topic has been beaten to death since this board started and the horse was beaten to death back on ASPD, let's give it a shot here and ask a couple basic questions:

Just how should you like this to be defined?

What level of service?

There are PLENTY of girls who offer FBSM and depending on the rate, can go from a handjob only ending to a blowjob or all the way up to fucking. I can see it now, every provider who wants another place for a free ad can simply claim she offers FBSM and the guy walks in, she rubs some baby oil on his back for 2 seconds then the GFE session begins.

- Short Notice Availability Ads
I'm all for that but doesn't Gina have that on P411? I'd prefer a short notice forum for the men to post where the posts are pruned by the system after 4 hours and no replies allowed at all. PERIOD.

Bonus Concept:
- Relevant discussions with a more civilized standard of online behavior
- No image restrictions on what can be posted (post your kitties all you want in here ladies - after all this is still the hobby! )

the owners of this site have said numerous times that they don't want it to simply turn into a porn photo site. There are TONS of porn photo sites out there and as many providers have already shown, they can even use sites to post videos. Anyone is free to go create an account on any porn site they want and upload as many porn photos as they want where those sites do not have rules other than the standards of no kids. Not really sure the reason why some feel the need for more revealing photos here when they can post them on their own web sites and simply link to the site in their ads or showcases.

After considering all the demand surrounding the above mentioned topics, I thought perhaps a private forum designed to meet the above needs would be a welcome idea.

Considering the demand? What demand?

IF there truly is such a demand, keep in mind that the owners have provided an option for anyone to create their own private forum and then appoint their own moderators for that specific forum. Guys sucking up to providers in their replies agreeing and cheerng the providers on rarely translates into actions, especially financial action.

It has been mentioned more times than most would care to count in other posts and several mentioned it in this one and it appears there MAY be support for what IF there really is some huge demand, it should not be that hard to get the masses to help pay for the forum. In fact, maybe part of this thread should have been asking how many would help pay for a new forum?

My intention, aside from access to more specified advertising, is to create a place where grown ups in the hobby can interact with each other like grown ups. This isn't meant to knock the childish antics we all enjoy from time to time but I like the idea of having a safe haven of well-mannered ladies and gents when the beaten path gets tiresome.

There have been some really great threads in the open forum that take a huge nose dive when certain posters come in only with the intention of shitting in it. I myself find it a waste of an otherwise relevant topic. So rather than piss and whine about it, I thought to myself, "self, start a private area where not only is the behavior-bar set a little higher but much desired ad space comes available to those who will respect the rules for having access to it".

So, all that being said, I hope that those of you who want location specific ads, fbsm ads and short notice availabity ads, as well as those of you that avoid posting because of the risk of mean-spirited backlash, will consider posting your support here for a private forum that addresses these desires/concerns.

I'm seeking the feedback before I commit to opening the private forum, but suspect it will be seen as a welcome breath of fresh air for many based on what I have heard and read over the past 18 months as a provider.

Thank you again and I hope everyone is having a Great New Year so far!

Two things, LL: first, I noticed with my short notice thread that there were contributors there who didn't post on Gina's ad boards. Most probably weren't p411 members, but there were a few ladies who posted only occasionally who did not post similar offers on p411. I know that because I tracked both pretty closely, and was fortunate to take advantage of a few.

Second, as I stated earlier, I believe it is THN's intent to do exactly as you suggest in your second to last paragraph: open up a private forum on Eccie. That may not have been clear in her original post, but that's my understanding of what she intends to do.

That's one of the nice features about this board: it allows entrepreneurial members to incubate an idea on the cheap and figure out if it has legs. Maybe it will generate ideas that make their way back to the Mother Board, maybe it will spawn a whole 'nother website. And maybe it will fall flat on its face and be gone in a few months. It's a pretty low risk venture, IMO, in the way THN is going about it. That's why I say, "go for it".

Btw, I do like the idea of ISO posts going away after a few hours. Perhaps the provider short notice posts would be more viable in that sort of environment as well.

Is this new forum short notice ads? Or a discussion forum? It appears that some are losing focus of what THN envisioned.

Both, from what Ive read in the original post ... Read it ALL again ... I am interested in the discussions as well as the short notice ads and by location ...
Im sure like with all new projects there will be additions and adjustments, abuse and correction, will require work indeed ... Lets see the challenges as opportunities and not as a reason to not do anything ...
That is the benefit of creating a "New Private Forum" as the title states ...

PS ... In life we have two choices: Jump into the water, or stay at the edge just wondering how it feels like to swim ...

I think it is well thought out and would like to be a part of it.

Thanks for all the discussion surrounding the forum. Lots of good points!

It is first and foremost a specialized space for ladies to communicate their menus, availability and location infomation in a private environment and for gents to find ladies based on location, fbsm/fs or short notice in a more timely fashion. In addition, if there are topics one wishes to discuss without the pointless fly-by insults then they can post in there.

ThreAd stickies for locations, services and short notice. Optional space for adult discussions. Pretty simple.

What I would love to hear more of while I'm outlining the structure is what areas of town would y'all like to see stickied? I'm trying to divide the metroplex into six areas. What would be the best way to divide it? I don't live in FTW but Eva mentioned guys there want different areas just as Dallas gents do? I would love some feedback on how to break down locations? Is six enough or should it be more?

Anyone is welcome to join the forum! Once it is set up and you get screened the only requirement is to treat others how you would like to be treated.

I don't intend to jerry jones the forum or the set up. I think its best to structure it in a very basic way and let it take on a life of its own. Taking ads down once or twice a day in the short notice thread in an EXCELLENT idea! Simple strategies that don't interfere and serve the intended purpose - perfect! Thank you LL

I'm not asking for help in getting the forum going bc its just not how I do things. Like I said before, if it serves its purpose and proves to be successful, I will reach out at that time to see if other want to contribute to it staying open. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if I started a thread asking for donations to start a private forum for this???? Geezus..

SD said something in an earlier post: people who want it will help and those that don't won't.

I appreciate the discussion, I do. Seems to me these are things people have been actively seeking on here for quite some time that the open forum does not address. I'm attempting to address them. No one else has a forum like this. I made sure to check. I'm trying something new and I hope it works out. If it doesn't it doesn't. Am I biting off more than I can chew? Sure looks that way.

Tinman makes and great point though in that this is an incredibly low risk endeavor. I hope it works out! I like making good things happen! On the chance that it doesn't, maybe someone else will use my experience to make a better plan in the future.

Thanks again for all the discussion and support!! Really wanna make this work!

Happy HUMPday

What about dividing along the lines of (East - Garland, Mesquite, Rockwall, etc); (North Suburbs - Plano, McKinney, Frisco, etc); (North Dallas - Addison, Dallas, etc) (Central - Downtown, Highland Park, etc), blah blah....

As another thought, I'm not sure if you girls are willing to share but the incall TYPE would be of interest to me. Apartment or Hotel/Motel.

What do y'all think? Ladies, are these good areas for you to communicate your services within? Gentlemen, are the areas on the map a good representation of how locations should be categorized?
THN i think this a great idea. I think alot of ladies will make use if not for the simple fact it's another advertising venue. As for the discussion portion eh whatever either way lol, from a hobbyist perspective more pics and less discussion the better. Good luck all the way
Count me in! a FBSM forum is needed as well as short notice. thanks for taking the initiative.
