Fantasy Football Thread

Since I no longer have a dog in this fight, I believe it sits a bad precedent for a non-participating player to make trades following elimination. At the very least it can be construed as stacking a team. At worst, it is! Originally Posted by bigtex

I took it for granted that all of these rules were in place already. Most of you are fantasy veterans, this should be a non-issue.

BTW..........Don great job as commish man!!! i loved your willingness to trade from week to week....it definitely made things interesting!!

My season is done... i had a blast just being part of the 12 they got invited to play on fantasy football. It's only one player, and trey came to me first. Besides....it's only one player...is it that big of a deal? Any given sunday, like SATIN said....dez might suck from here on out....and DeMarco Murray is back anyway.....I say approve it...Thanks again Don,for all your hard work on being the "COMMISIONER" we can't pay you 15 million like GOODELL gets....but if you make one trip to SATIN'S FIGHT NIGHT PARTY,whenever he has one....we'll make it up to you....... And yeah, I thought everyone's team would still be around, so I didn't set a deadline, I will do it for sure next season, you live and you learn, I guess.

I've gone ahead and veto'd the trade...

Trey, since you can still make trade proposals, if you make a deal with someone who still has an active team, and the rest of the teams that are playing agree it's fair, you can go ahead with the deal. I think that's the best way to handle this.

I think they will still play if they do you should force my trade though

I'm pretty sure their season is over, I don't see why they would be back if the missed this week....But if they are back, yeah, I will cancel the veto, but I'm pretty sure they are out...

I can see all your points but for me personally, I don't care. I guess if we were gambling for more money, I would...lol. Yea, I know it's the principle...blah, blah, blah, but I just don't see it as a big issue. Like Jim Rome says, "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying"!!!

I made the fewest trades this whole season: only 1 trade......I had a bunch proposed to me but only did one with Cat-Man....which helped me out (Fat Michael Turner)...

We learned a lot this year so next year will be better. I hope.

You fucktards are trading after you are eliminated?

What is to prevent you from giving your star players to someone in the palyoffs?

Who is the fucktard willing to accept those players?

Well...Trey...commish shot trade down. I understand perfectly. Easye on a roll, but any given sunday, like SATIN said, you may still pull it out. Hell, ROMO and Cj killed me the first 6 weeks of the season...I could have had a shot at playoffs. Good luck to all you guys that are in...On another note......the Cowboys...Steeler's....and Redskins....all Are on life support......

I want to take this moment to thanck the fantasy football world for this great honor. It was a hard fought battle. These regular season trophies (regular season chump & highest scoring retard) will hold a special place in my fantasy trophy case.......along with my hunger foul)........I want to thanck my chihuahua for making my weekly starting lineup......I thinck I will let him chase more cats as a reward.

Now, let's see if I can keep from getting my ass kicked in the playoffs.

TOP TWO SEEDS GO DOWN IN OUR PLAYOFFS

But congrats to Ded and Trey on good seasons. Dadio and Easy are in the finals, I think we should get the prize money situation handled soon as we know who the winner will be (either dadio or easy). I proposed paypal, but if either the two of y'all know guys, you can get it that way, too. I think the easiest way would be to have y'all message the rest of us. The amount was $25 if I remember correctly.

Good luck Men, too bad I couldn't join in, my team is hot right now...eh.

Dude I don't think anyone is gettin no money lol. I put that shit up after week one. It was a good season next year lets keep most things the same so no surprises during the playoffs we keep the two game sets. We put in a trade deadline of two or three games before the end of season. And if we are going to pony up cash lets get it done before week one guys lets stop the bull about 50-100 bucks cus you know no ones gonna put it in 20 at least makes it something (and everyone should be willing to lose a 20).

Any other suggestions for next year?

Oh yeah forgot to say I was robbed! Robbed I say!
TheDon's Avatar
Well, if you choose not to chip in the prize money, there isn't much I can do about it.

But I'm good for my word, so the winner is at least guaranteed a solid $25 pay day out of me, you can get a gift card from Amazon or Best Buy with that shit!
