The FBI director leaking information and documents to the press would be another example. AG Lynch having a secret meeting on the tarmac with the subject of a criminal investigations husband, and when caught not recusing herself would be yet another.

As far as approval ratings, in recent history they have a really bad record of their polls matching reality, Hillery in a landslide as a example. For what it's worth we have seen approval numbers similar to this before.
