Above is a pretty good explanation. Lustylad really needs to read it to see how good a thing it has been for certain folks....it is why older people said they did not want the government messing with their Medicare!

For the past 25 years or so, I have maxed out my Social Security taxes. Add what the Company Matches, that's quite a bit of cash paid in.

You can do the math to see what I receive a month.

So yes, I'll never get it all back.

I also am in Plan B in Medicare, which I have to pay even more extra for because of my Tax Bracket. I also have very good Health Insurance through my Company.

But Medicare is considered the primary insurance.
