Pittsburgh bridge collapse

He has had his ass handed to him so many times because of incorrect information.

Still needing clarification on his claim of a Clinton felony.

The way you have worded your statement, there was a bill on paper in front of the president. How was the president stopped from signing it? Did they hide the pens? Put it under a salad? Distract him with a big mac? I didn't hear anything about a gun to the head.

All the dickering is in Congress. *THAN* what gets through is put on the potus desk. Up to him at that moment to sign or not. Originally Posted by Precious_b

Yep, I still vividly recall the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tearing up the SOTU address behind Trump breaking the law and looking like a fool. You want to be really correct...the dems didn't write an infrastructure bill under Trump so he didn't have one to sign though he requested it many times. Kind of like when he tried to light a fire under them about illegal immigration. The Constitution says that the House writes immigration law but I bet you blame Trump for that too.

So, you're thinking is clouded with TDS.

To eliminate any misinterpretation, reword your post to make things clear.

My post said that potus doesn't write bills. I clearly stated Congress does. And "dickering", to me, conveys the same levity as "kabuki theater". So, that was being superlative on your part. I invite you to point out where I place blame on donny. Or how I am hijacking it when making note how you say he was "stopped" from signing which implies he has a piece of paper in front of him. I just wanted you to clear up how pen did not get to paper. (Must have taken offense to some of the ways that could happen from my suggestion, which are mild compared to comments you make.)
And *AGAIN* you go over old tracks that I posted about how a bill gets out of Congress. No need to be mentioned ad nauseum. And I guess tearing things up must be old hat to both parties. But Pelosi copy of speech is the only thing i've heard being tore up on democrat end. National Archives states they are busy taping alot of the official White House documents because donny was tearing them up (aides say that this was the unofficial filing system of trump). And btw, this is illegal to do destroying government documents. But I was not trying to be "really correct." I was wanting clarity to your post. I wasn't asking about infrastruct, illegal immigration, or constitutional law.

Just tell us how, with a paper in front of him, he couldn't put a signature to it.
Else, rephrase your post.
Do this so others here don't "So, you're thinking is clouded with TDS."

You're better than that.

Maybe barley can clear that up second time around.

All I'm willing to say is "Well done Whoopie" but I write for the masses and they need to be tuned up from time to time. I'm sure that you can teach them something from Constitution Rock.

As for hijacking; this was about a bridge collapse and not how government operates or anything to do with Trump since he no longer holds office.

Just wanted to know how a bill (infrastructure in this instance since *I* assume you are/were being on point) was prevented from being signed.

All I wanted to know.

Don't go off thread with obamacare or personal feelings of such.

Reread dialogue between barley and myself.
Summation on my end: Barley infers that donny was barred from putting pen to paper. Hence there was bill.
Further clarification will come from barley.

How can this be a coincidence ? This looks like a conspiracy by the radical right to embarrass the President. It certainly needs to be looked into. Many members here are from the Pittsburgh area, and have attacked the President on his infrastructure bill. What did they have to do with this ? This also needs to be looked into and have them answer some questions. Originally Posted by VitaMan

Trump had over 80,000 in CONROE, Texas!

VM "administrations" consistent with the U.S. Constitution DO NOT "PASS" bills. Comprendes?

Perhaps this also helps the "reading comprehension" issue ... from an old friend.

Calling a piece of legislation an "Infrastructure Bill" in the name-label doesn't make it about "infrastructure" .... but an old friend of mine used this example, which you might understand .... he said frequently ...

"When you put shit in a bowl and cover it with ice cream you still have a bowl of shit!"

That explanation applies to the alleged "infrastructure" legislation ...

Since when are bullshit programs like "day care" ...."infrastructure" or have a damn thing to do with "bridge" REPAIRS ... and besides ... based upon the FACTS disclosing an "inspection" of the fallen bridge ... last year? ... apparently Pennsylvania is about as good at looking at bridges as they are examining ballots and credentials to vote in elections. Or are the schools up there just not good a "reading comprehension" skills training? Speaking of "dumbing down"!

Some posters should really move away from the insecure, rude remarks about others low "info" and need for "dumbing down," because it really doesn't elevate anyone's intellectual ability to pretend to be more knowledgeable than everyone else. It's really merely reflecting their own self-assessment and inferiority complex. I suppose that's why they voted for Bitten & Kumola ... both mental rocks.
