I think that is a poor analogy. Requesting the investigation of a crime is a legitimate thing to do when probable cause exists - which the tape of the father VP Biden bragging about getting the prosecutor fired certainly establishes.

Threatening to tear down a beautiful Trump building that is not a threat to public safety is clearly an illegal act.
