My site is very small compared to the guys that make $30k/month doing it. As long as I don't end up on a list or copy fake content from the big sites I should be fine. And if I get blocked, oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

I will not even try to read this threAD but will comment about the title of FAKE NEWS.

The idea that our government is not complicit in creating "FAKE NEWS" is laughable.
We have been fed propaganda by our government through the "media" for just about ever.
To think that political parties have not done the same is just as laughable.

Being an older person, I can recall every time that there was a story about the Soviet Union we were always shown images of frumpy old people waiting in line for whatever it was they were waiting for. Who knew that there were some hot ass babes over there, but that is not the point. The point is that the subtle propaganda was designed to shape our opinions in a specific manner. No different than the typical advertising that shows a fine ass babe hanging out with guys that drink beer so if you drink their beer fine ass babes will hang out with you. yeah right.

We are fed propaganda on a daily basis and it comes at us from all sides in many shapes, fashions, and forms. Democrats have become so accustomed to being lied to that they are never shocked when it is revealed to them and neither do they care.

It has not become, as it has always been this way, that history is little more than the opinion of the historian about what he perceived as facts.

I read and listen with a filter, hoping that in some way I can discern if there is any factual information that is not slanted, biased, or just plain made up.

I recall having to explain some of that shit. It was like the TV series Dallas!

Yep, when you start talking about advertising you open up a whole new realm of propaganda that most people do not understand is mostly fantasy.

Edward Bernays, the creator of modern advertising and propaganda. Yes, he thought the two were one and the same. He came up with the bacon and eggs breakfast in order to sell more eggs for his clients. The "four minute men" to sell World War I and he got us to pay money for bottled water.
