Yssup Rider switched the conservative critique from "Democrat-run CITIES are dangerous" to "Red STATES are dangerous" to get the misleading conclusion he sought.
In either instance, the danger comes from urban areas or states with a high African American population. Those are the areas run by the Democrats.
Whites might be able to elect more reps or governors in Mississippi or Louisiana, but they can't do anything about the high-murder areas run by democrats in those states.
So, NY votes blue and TX votes red, but the murders in both states occur in cities run by Democrats with a large black population. THAT is the truth.
