There is so much (recent and distant) history and baggage around this race issue in the USA, I wish people would move on. Why do US black people think it is 'acting white' to try to be dressed decently, get an education, make a decent living, and be a responsible parent. Let alone writing in grammatical, correctly spelt, English. I don't find any of my US ebony babes think that way, quite the opposite. If they did, I wouldn't talk to them.
It is not an issue with any other black people around the world.
I won't even start on the issues white people in the USA have.
Thank goodness my (mixed race) children are growing up in a country without all this angst and misplaced anger.
