Additionally, the SNAP-D is for
current EBT holders only, which means they have an income below $1,250.00 (from all sources) per month. That means to get any EBT benefits, you have to meet income levels as well as file an application.
What you wrote may have been the case for you since you were in NOLA during Katrina, but in Texas it's different and there is an income restriction on getting SNAP/EBT benefits in Texas.
