Class cannot be bought. It's that simple. A "snob" is someone who tries to emulate class. I do think though "class" can and has to be learned. Its not "natural". what do you guys think?
ps: i have to say here that in europe the word "snob" is generally used for people who lead a high roler lifestyle (aka the Porsche driver and buyer and that kind of people) It is not always meant to be derogatory or condescending. Its a label like you say to someone "oh you are a hippie /punk/ and that.
I assume the use of snob is used only as insult in USA? Am i right? Its so interesting for me to learn the etymologic meanings or words and their use in different countries.
