Trump's First Year: An Amazing Success

No, there's no kool aid here. If you wanna talk cults - Jim Jones is a good place to start.
Trump supporters like me just recognize a good man when they see one - and he is very good. Originally Posted by Austin Ellen

You can like person but when you excuse and explain away all of their mistakes, you’re following a man like a cult member does.
Yes, I realize that but again -we are not drinking koolaid here. If you remember I said I did not agree with President Trump on his endorsing what's his name from Alabama. I disagree with him on other things too but I still love the guy. To me, he's an alpha, dominate man who knows how to lead.

Also idk that he knows how to lead. He is the head of a party with both chambers of Congress and he can’t get deals done. He has garnered no loyalty from people (non family members) who work for him. He is routinely wrong. And his chief of staff just said he wasn’t informed. That’s not a good leader.
One of the reasons he can't get things done is because he's an outsider and ***gasp*** members in Congress do NOT like that. He is not a Republican in the true sense of the word.
He is shaking things up and some people can not handle that.
However, the stock market sure does love it - and the economy sure does love it- we're winning. The only color he sees is green (money)and he wants us to have more of it. Can't argue with that - I know I'm lovin it.

He can't get things done because he doesn't know how to negotiate politically. He's a Republican. He changes the sense of the word when he became the head of the party. He isn't shaking anything up for the better. Look at international polls, China is more trusted than us now. Look at polls here, he isn't trusted by an overwhelming majority. He is alienating people. He's dividing us even more. He does see color. That stupid Eric Trump line is weak. If he didn't see color why did he point out his African American at a rally? The amount of white people telling all of the minorities who call Trump a racist they are wrong is ridiculous. He continues to say racist things. He is overwhelming disliked by the African American community, there is a reason for that. We know that he sees color and he doesn't like ours. He wants us to have as much green as we can get to try to win reelection. His care for the people of this country goes and them getting more green so far as getting reelected. He hasn't shown true morality. He has been extremely divisive, he was given a great economy and hasn't crashed it. He's gotten some companies to increase pay but then you hear things like those companies are laying off thousands and those increases are for people at the company for 20 years. He pushed for a tax cut for the wealthy. Sorry but he sees color, everyone does. He just chooses to believe certain colors aren't worth his time.

No, I don't think taxpayers should pay for the wall but we have to do something. It's a big,big problem we have. So of we have to pay for the wall initially to secure our borders and then have Mexico pay for it - well, that's what is going to have to happen. Trump inherited this problem - he didn't make it. We exported $231 BILLION worth of goods to Mexico in 2016. But we imported $294.2 BILLION. So we have a trade deficit but Mexico is our 2nd largest trade partner and the 3rd place country (China) is less than half of what we have with Mexico.

Point is we don't have much leverage over Mexico when it comes to forcing them to pay for the wall. In a recent poll 85% of Americans believe the U.S. will foot the bill for building the wall. Tariffs? We do that and Mexico does the same.

Yes, Trump inherited the problem. The number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. rose greatly during the Bush administration and actually came down during the Obama administration. No wall yet the number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. did not go up from 2009 through 2016. Estimates are that the migration from Mexico will not pick up in the future because of the country's shrinking youth population and declining birth rate.

This was a campaign promise from Trump. It resounded well with Trump's main voting bloc so he kept on preaching it at his rallies. I don't blame him for that but even within the Republican party there are many who do not support the building of the wall. In every poll on the subject, Americans do not support the building of the wall. It's time to listen to the people and for Trump to lower his sights for what he wants concerning the wall. If Democrats take over the House in 2018, funding for the wall will probably end.

Mueller, Mueller, Mueller... pretty sure that the man is looking at this if he already didn't know.
I have a question. What is taking Mueller so long to wrap this up? At this point - me thinks - he's trying to find something to cover his ass. Also, I forget-- what they were colluding about. I mean Trump and his family got involved with Russia and Putin to win the election? Sneaking around trying to get money for his campaign? And Hillary had nothing to do with losing? That's going over into the twilight zone.

It's also about obstruction of justice. That is definitely still being investigated and it's being furthered with things like Trump's lawyers shutting down Bannon's testimony to Congress. Things like that have to be looked at. Trump keeps doing things that make this obstruction investigation have to continue on. And he acts like someone with plenty of mens rea. I just find it hilarious that Trump people are telling us this investigation needs to end already when we continue getting more and more shoes dropping. We continue to see more and more people lying about things. The investigation will end when all the evidence has been collected and all the parties interviewed. A thorough investigation is best for everyone.

As for your questions. If you're asking them in response to the article, the article just points out some odd dots that look like they connect Russian money to campaign donations, that's all.

No one but Trump people are saying people think Hillary didn't do anything to add to her losing the election.
Well, I think it's been a year now - I think that's plenty of time to find something - if something was there. It should be easy for him to find it-if what everyone says is true- I really don't get it but I shall exercise my patience in this matter.

At this point Mueller is probably happy to be collecting a nice paycheck and hoping he can exit the investigation with his reputation intact.
