Maybe it's the folks administering them, and maybe it's also the folks instructing the little demon seed cocksuckers who get into them?

That is exactly where I'm going with this.

It's great that you were able to see the trajectory of this, but that doesn't make it any less true.

If we do mainstream media, the paradigm is also noticeably one-sided:

I believe these things to be self-evident regardless of whether one takes a deep dive or does not.

It's like being able to recognize that water is wet.

Please don't tell me education equals intelligence.

Now which dumb fuck has a business degree from that Ivy League school in Pennsylvania? (allegedly)

And didn't idiot boy Dubya graduate from Harvard business school?

In all my years spent in academia the more creative, imaginative, interesting, intriguing, intelligent, challenging and brilliant ones all had a decided liberal bent that conservatives simply can never match.

Those with a conservative bias tended to be dry, boring, redundant, robotic, a little weird, glassy eyed speaking as monotone drones that can easily put you to sleep and usually end up in the Engineering depts... or like our present POTUS!

Maybe that's why many Engineers end up being the way they are.
At every place I've worked over the years the running joke has always been.
"Communication with the dead is easier than communicating with an Engineer!"
If I've heard that once, I've heard it 100s of times!....LOL

Oh above joke quote has been amended to include Trump!!!

Article states:
Conservatives also scored highest on measures of rationalization, which gauge a person's tendency to justify, or explain away, inequalities.

The rationalization measure included statements such as: "It is not really that big a problem if some people have more of a chance in life than others," and "This country would be better off if we worried less about how equal people are."
Rationalization, as any Shrink worth his Freud will tell you, is the crutch long used by conservatives daily, along with FAUX News, Hannity, Rush the Blowhard, et al., because they lack Vision. They simply parrot the 'current line' as instructed by superiors without question, or they get fired. They take great pride in being a mere mindless echo chamber of lemmings, bleating our nothing but fluff to each other! Comical to watch these fluffers really, as seen often happening on this hook board....LOL

When it comes to vision, Liberals are the true visionaries, they wrote the book.
Conservatives, well just look to Don the Con... they haven't a clue. For Cons myopia is their dominant gene. Cons can't get past what the next quarter or couple weeks bode and what it makes them look like.

Rubber industry was the most interesting due to innovations being made. Namely DuPont invented a synthetic rubber that could be used on all vehicle tires and would last 100,000 miles back in the 60s! Think about that. Any vehicle you purchased would need no tires while you owned it unless you put 100,000 miles on them, or they suffered road damage or a blowout. Recall back then most tires had to be replaced after 10,000 or 20,000 miles. We were quite excited...that is until the big 5 tires companies back then bought out the tire formula and locked it up forever in their safe never to be seen again. Isn't Capitalism great....

Also was in on a roll-out of a new Autodeposition paint treatment/process that inhibited rust on vehicle parts by a factor of 10X better than before. It dramatically reduced rust very common in vehicles of past decades. Paint process parameters were very exacting and had to be maintained to work. It was both fascinating and challenging training automotive plant employees to implement this in plants not that known for cleanliness. This was an Autodeposition coating system, requiring use of an analytical balance, doing complex chemical titrations and using and recharging an industrial grade Reverse Osmosis System capable of producing Hospital grade pure deionized water, which was required. This system worked great for several years, provided well trained qualified workers ran it. Still used but not as much since many of those treated components are now made of thermoplastics.
