It depends on how graphic the text was.

The most I would do is ask for an appointment, if a regular, or if new introduce myself (eg, TinMan from Eccie) and inquire what I need to do in order to get an appointment. If no response, I figure something isn’t right and move on.
If that was the extent of his communication he really doesn’t have reason to be concerned IMO.
