Its not really that quiet in Texas

Money in Israel from Americans living abroad. Tell the whole story Ekim. Remember, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Just like he did in England.

Of course I expect you to write a screed about Obama turning off his filters on the Internet donations from other countries. Don't deny it, it is proven true and now we all want to hear you complain so you show consistency. Originally Posted by JD Barleycorn

I am suprised Dewherst lost but congrats JD and Whirly. You got your guy. I would not read to much into this election though, other than Texas is a really red state that Obama was never going to win.

I was watching a program today where one of the guest said that 40 years ago the Senate had around 60 moderates...that is not the case today and we will be having fewer come November. That is not a good thing in my book. Originally Posted by WTF

Henry "Scoop" Jackson and Daniel Patrick Moynihan would not be welcome in today's Democrat party. And I'm not real sure Barry Goldwater would have a home in today's Republican party, either.

Didn't Perry endorse Dewhurst? I could be wrong, but that is what I heard.
Dewhurst is Perry's boy, no doubt about it. But, I think Dewhurst lost this one on his own. He ran an incredibly negative campaign and it turned people off. One of the PAC's supporting him was saturating the TV for the last week with an ad blaming Cruz for some kid's suicide. Crazy stuff....I mean, typical Republican stuff these days...but, crazy.

Perry is still pretty popular here...not as popular as he used to be. But, I suspect that if he runs for governor again, he will win easily. Dumb as a rock....but, good hair.

Opppps

Keep thinking these TP election victories are an aberration..................

I like that our opponets underestimate our candidates, party strength, determination, and appealing message........continue to play the fools thru November !

....tick, tick, tick.
Goldwater would be very comfortable in the Tea Party...............

And Jack Kennedy would likely be a Republican today....on the abortion issue alone, Kennedy would be a pro life politican.

Timpage, Rick Perry supported Dewhurst. Try to keep up.

Typical republican stuff??? Care to come up with a couple more examples of churches being burned, or black men being drug to death, or...wait a minute. Those are typical democratic things. My bad.
