Given the fact that everyone changes a bit over time, whatever the picture is, showing skin or covering skin (to use Tara's original language), one of the most important words is "current." Whatever the picture looks like it is an indication of what's behind the door, and the more up-to-date the better.I get guys asking me all the time is that really your pics? Its really sad that so many men have been burned by fake pics. I tell them if its not me at the door I will pay you.
As for the "skin" question, I like both. I like to see clothes begin on and come off. And to be honest, whatever is shown, if I'm attracted, it sends me on a google, eccie, bing search of even more revealing pictures. Originally Posted by Tom

First off Tara, this is an amazing thread. Such a delicate topic to approach whenever taking photosets or posting marketing pics. Which to do? The full on pornstar approach (which will draw the masses, but put off the classy-craving types) or the mysterious/playful-yet conservative approach (which will draw less outright, but will filter out a lot of the dregs)?
IMO, I love a combination of the two. I call it "righteous with a sprinkle of rachet". To me, the whole lingerie/garter belt/overtly seductive look thing is a horse beat dead, resurrected as a zombie, and beat dead again. It's lame (again, this is just my opinion -no disrespect intended to those to do enjoy it or employ it). Just the same, the whole 'sink model' craze or HEY-LOOK-AT-MY-PUZZY-CUZ-IM-AN-INSECURE-ATTENTION-WHORE is equally as unappetizing.
So then, the challenge is to combine to best of both worlds, showing enough to keep the 'sportfuck' crowd happy, while at the same time endearing the classier 'maxim' fans. My age progressively leans me towards the more energetic and eccentric sides of my photography and video work, but recently I've been taking steps to counter-act that, and have come to the exact question that Tara has presented here. I love to see that someone else has come to this question, and the replies are amazing.
Great thread, and debate on! Originally Posted by cyborg
