and as I'm looking at your limited review history you seem to have much more to say than you have to actually have to share on the board. Originally Posted by greatballsoffire43

This hobby is a microcosm of the real world. There is a fair share of irresponsible or disorganized people among both providers and clients who account for the non-responses, routine cancellations and no-shows. I can surmise that providers have to handle a larger volume of communications (good or bad) than clients, and I appreciate those who maintain good customer service nonetheless. Yes there is a fair share of irresponsible and/or disorganized people, not to mention non-responders, in the real world.

Case in point: I’m always looking to better myself and advance in the workplace, and to assume more responsibility. Recently, I interviewed for an organization and was told only hours after initial contact I’d made it to a second interview and the regional director would be calling. Well, he did call. I was working at the time and he was unable to contact me but left a contact number. Turns out he left a wrong number! Upon calling back, I was connected with someone not affiliated with his company. I then called the person who originally interviewed me and got the director’s correct number.

I’ve called this man back countless times to no avail. He never answers the phone. I’ve left messages regarding his initial contact with me, my interest in speaking with him, and best time to reach me. All I get is voice mail. After dialing about 20 times and leaving about 5 voice messages, I’m now done calling. I guess I’m not even being afforded the dignity and common courtesy of being told to go fuck myself – very, very unprofessional.

I don’t know; maybe I’m doing something wrong or fail to fully understand today’s interpersonal protocol. I’m a highly educated guy, but sometimes not the quickest. If I’m missing something, someone please let me know.

Oh, and, if I weren’t worried about my reputation I’d be so tempted to leave a voice mail to tell this man what an incompetent, disrespectful, elitist clown he is!

As to sharing, from past boards ASPD and E.com I've gotten away from posting reviews I have found like many others have , that the SP's like to share more than references about their visitors, and who is to say their point of view is spot on.
Face it, we have what they want...if we were to strike ...they look for work.
GBOF.....look at it this way. One door closes and another one opens. Maybe in this case, two did. Would you rather have 2 Chevy's or 1 Caddie. I'd rather have 2 Chevy's. However that Caddie, whoever that is, is awesome. Thanks for the 2 newbies. Have an appt with T next week!

when these sort of miscommunications happen two things come from it

a. they work through it and let bygones be bygones
b. they agree to disagree and move on

things happen, no need to take a miscommunication to this level
