This is Not the Boy's Locker Room

To some no, but to others yes
For months I have been reading vulgar comments from some of the male members of this forum. You'd think this was a toilet stall inside high school boy's room.

If using garish language and calling women insulting and derogatory terms turns you on, save it for your appointments or use it in the Men's Lounge - maybe someone in there will be impressed. This is a public forum lets keep it civil and act like adults. Originally Posted by drax1

Demeaning this site and the women whose services you willingly pay for screams hypocrite.

This is a profession most women do for various reasons. They have lives outside the hobby and the profession, regardless of what you think of them, does not define them as a person.

It is also about my opinion that if ALL women here were treated as equals to begin with, it would foster a better attitude and encourage more ladies to post in a positive manner.

However, if we, as women, are constantly being reminded to stay out of certain forums and stay on what others perceive to be "on topic, " then it will continue to seem like a men's locker room.

Am I the ONLY one who sees my point? If so, just tell me. It's pretty obvious that some men here don't WANT a woman's viewpoint, especially a "civilian" one. They are the ones that foster the locker room attitude.

I feel like, similar with threADs, we should be allowed to weigh in as we see fit. If that means naturally swaying a topic to something more pleasant and appealing, like my BOOBs, what is the harm?

Seriously? Back to my not so big bOOb...

I see your point and agree to a point. However it's not my site
I understand where the OP is coming from, however, I know a lot of these childish "assholes" in person, so it's hard to take ANY of it seriously. ECCIE is the proverbial water cooler at my work. However, sometimes I spill water on my white blouse in front of the whole room and no one complains. Well, sometimes they do, but to each their own. I'm having fun and working at the same time

Without boobies to focus on...I have nothing else to say here...

Now I have the sads
My Darling Bunny, I know you see my point. Did you see my boob?

As a community, we can better manage unpleasant behavior. Like I stated earlier, sometimes the best approach is to simply let an unpleasant poster have the last word and let the thread die a natural death. Don't argue, don't engage. It's like going to a mediation and letting the opposing party blather on and dig their own hole. Eventually, the just run out of things to say.

Another approach is to distract and divert. But here, that's sometimes viewed as hijacking a thread, which is not necessarily accurate. If you can lead the topic to something else via a tangent, that should be allowed. It's not a college class, after all, it's a Escort Message Board.

While I like to think I'm one of a kind, I'm not. There are other ladies who would participate here how are related to the hobby but not providers. I know there are. But if you don't have a whole lot of patience and some rather thick skin, it is hard to post here. That could be improved.

I think I just thought of a new thread. What is your fear in welcoming civilian ladies on ECCIE? Worried about infiltration by SOs?

I don't think the members fear it. They may even welcome it. When guidelines are written then some members live by it and will even try to enforce it themselves and the ones that don't mind really don't speak up.

IMO general posts in a forum just don't get much notice. I think finding where the ones that matter tend to respond and posting there tends to get the message across faster.

This particular topic here doesn't sway me much cause it just comes across too much as one telling another what to do all the while doing what he wants to do, knowing there are plenty people that don't agree with that either.

I myself remember Houston forums having a more active female membership but unfortunately instead of doing as you do along with a few others they decided just not to participate. I personally don't think they would come back even if things did change, too much time has past.

Edit: In fact Alyssa I think providers are allowed plenty of a voice. Most ladies tend to not do so and let the ones they feel are asses to get the best of them. You and Lilmynx as well as LD are great examples IMO.
I agree sometimes it does get a bit juvenile on the board. But then again I'm here to make money, not gossip amongst the children. It doesn't bug me, I find it interesting that so much time is actually put into all of this. To each its own. I'm only here to get them all off. ♥
Crawling under my favorite spinner.

Good points Kammye!

Coed Discussions - Houston Hobby-related discussions belong here. Let's keep these discussions on-topic, thought-provoking, and more importantly...entertaining!

If you would a like a "boobie thread" Alyssa, feel free start one in the proper forum...or just get one of your TEAM members to start it

The OP started a thread that has been talked about recently before and no doubt will come up again...hopefully, his thoughts were provoked enough and he's satisfied. If not, just wait two weeks
Okay...please forgive me for being the first to post the boobie pics....but I wasn't first to go off topic....whatever the topic is.

whisper: scroll down......just sayin'
