Well the draft was completed today and everyone was there except Willy..(don't worry bro, the computer took very good care of you)..

It looks like the teams are very even this year. There was a lot of shit-talking but it came off pretty well. My man Easye got first pick and smartly went with AP...

It seemed every player I wanted got picked right before my turn. These fuckers know their stuff. It's hard to say who has the best team on paper. I guess we shall see.

And for you last few slackers that hasn't paid yet....come on man!!! Originally Posted by Satin

Lmfao, that's great you have that much confidence in his team, but I'll have to beg to differ.....

How did your drafts go this year in your leagues? I did much better in my other league...I have a "sure-fire" winning squad....right Easye?

We will have my Austin (office) draft on Tuesday night. I am the Commish of that league. The random draft order will not be selected until 1 hour prior. Personally, I prefer to pick between 3-8 as opposed to the first two or last two in a round. Last year in Don's draft, I picked #12. Ugh!

I did not like 4th it is no mans land.....you end up with 2 great players and a shit load of what the fuck players as opposed to 1 great player and 4 good players at 7 or 8

I'm up against DeD week 1 and he looks pretty tough to beat.

No one stopped you from taking him Snatch Man....he's still available...go for it!!

When you met up with me and my gal Monday, she said you were cool but no way I should let your ass win this year....
Thanks man, you are cool as hell and your snatch was hot.

I still plan on whipping ass this year.
In one of my other leagues, CBS Sportsline sent out this email after the draft, basically "grading" a few of the teams and how they drafted

Draft Recap

Master Drafter

When the dust settled from the draft, Da Monsters were left on top. Their starters project out to score more points than any other team this year. Coach Dan made some savvy pickups in Mark Ingram, Mike Williams, and Bernard Pierce. Ingram was rated as the 3rd best pickup in the draft.

The Matt Millen Award Goes To...

Coach Don might want to ask Coach Dan for some help next year, as their starting squad is ranked dead last in expected points. Coach Dan reached for several players, including Ryan Mathews, Percy Harvin, and Terrelle Pryor. Pryor rated as the worst pick in the draft, with projections that suggest he should have gone undrafted.

Split Decision

Was Coach Jose partying a bit too hard during the draft? While their first half was stellar (1st overall by expected value added), they tanked in the second half, ranking 9th over the last 11 picks. In the first half, Coach Jose made some shrewd pickups, including Rashard Mendenhall and Reggie Bush. They then fell off in the second half with picks like Jeremy Maclin, who was rated as the 4th worst selection in the draft.

Well Aged Vintage

Chi Town Hustlers have to be hoping that experience is going to make the difference, as they ended up with the oldest team in the draft. Their squad includes such long-in-the-tooth folks like Phil Dawson (38), Matt Bryant (38), and Andre Johnson (32). The experts seemed to have endorsed the strategy, as Chi Town Hustlers are projected to have the 3rd best starting crew in the league.

Bum Rush

Beast Mode clearly didn't prioritize their ground game in the draft, winding up with the worst RB core in the league. Coach Tim has Steven Jackson and Chris Ivory starting, although they have a servicable backup in DeAngelo Williams. Neglecting that position didn't seem to work out, as Beast Mode are projected to have the 2nd worst starting lineup in the league.

In my other FF league from Yahoo, I received a complete draft analysis and grade. I got the highest, a "B+" It went on to predict my squad would win the most games as well.

So DED, who did you get tonight after we talked?
