Yeah, well, today, one of my main stock investments has completely recovered from the Trump tariff bump.

Approaching a new record again, younze don't understand that when major changes occur businesses and people get scared and you have to wait out the uncertainly in your markets.

So, how bad is the market today?

My opinion....

As for bottom dip buying, regrets and profits often equal out in the end.

A stable long term strategy has worked well for me.

Remember, when you drop a 20 on a PA Scratch off it pays about 45 percent back.

Keep the 20 in your pocket or better in the bank.

Further proof that Trump sells tariffs as the miracle cure. He claims that his tariff threats stopped a nuclear war now. Meanwhile he never got to a deal with India.

How are businesses supposed to make decisions when taroff logic has nothing to do with MAGA, it's just cure for every ill?

If the answer is make it in America, that cuts out all the tariff revenue for stuff than can and should be made here while not securing or opening the foreign market.

Appeals Court Rules Against Many Trump Tariffs

The decision is a big blow to President Trump’s trade policies, but the judges left the duties in place for now to allow time for a likely appeal to the Supreme Court.

A federal appeals court ruled on Friday that many of President Trump’s most punishing tariffs were illegal, delivering a major new setback that may severely undercut the administration’s primary power and source of leverage in an expanding global trade war.

The ruling, from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, affirmed a lower court’s initial finding that Mr. Trump did not possess unlimited authority to impose taxes on nearly all U.S. imports. But the appellate judges delayed the enforcement of their order until mid-October, allowing the administration time to appeal the case to the Supreme Court.

While the tariffs remain in place, for now, the adverse ruling still cast doubt over the centerpiece of Mr. Trump’s trade strategy and the many sweeping and sometimes withering tariffs that the president has imposed to raise revenue and broker favorable trade deals globally.

The president has warned that any erosion in his tariff powers could carry grave consequences. Mr. Trump, who has said his tariffs will make America “rich” through new sources of revenue, has even invoked the specter of the Great Depression if his ability to impose levies is curtailed and the country is forced to pay back some of the billions of dollars it has collected so far.

“Today a Highly Partisan Appeals Court incorrectly said that our Tariffs should be removed, but they know the United States of America will win in the end,” Mr. Trump predicted on social media. “If these Tariffs ever went away, it would be a total disaster for the Country.”

The Trump administration has no guarantee of success at the Supreme Court, where the president’s claims to vast tariff powers may face an uphill fight. Many leading conservative and libertarian lawyers and scholars have said the president’s duties were issued illegally.
Cue trump's pet SCOTUS to come unconstitutionallly save his ass again. What a fucking travesty. He might as well have them on a leash.

I'll be happy to admit I was wrong if they finally did their jobs for once, but I predict they'll continue to allow donnie to break any laws he wants to.

Well, the illegal Trump tariffs have India and China defrosting their relationship and beginning to build more bridges on trade partnership. The rest of the world is second guessing their "deals" as Trump tries to cling to an argument that America is doomed without his tariffs.

Apparently Tariffman thinks that the end of his tariffs are the end of the Ubited Ststes.

When will Doom & Gloom Donnyboy stop with the hyperbolic bullshit? We existed before his illegal tariffs. We'll exist after. And it will take time to undo the damage he's wrought but the wounds will heal.

Lovely I'll gotten gains, and illegal tariffs, and chaos and mayhem. If anyone was financially hurt by this administrations malfeasance, they should be made whole by this inept administration. The fact that Congress sidestep the responsibilities by any proxy, - those folks should either be thrown out, or censured at the minimum.

The damage from 8 months is already piling up. Imagine 42 more months of the idiocy of 47.

In addition to Tariff damage, just wait till the USA is sued out the ass by companies and countries damaged by this administration.

It's another EPIC fail by DJT.

The net result is shrinking profit margins and people making trinkets for pennies domestically. Hardly a story of success despite creating few shitty jobs domestically.

A word to all the capitalists - if there is no profit there is no business. Trump is too stupid to realize that making things here in this country takes all the profit out people are going to purchase at the same or current level for items. If you raise the price above the demand curve - (either have no demand or certainly diminished demand), either way, you end up with no profits and diminishing returns.

As a country that is based on income taxes on profits - imagine the lack of taxable profits as things get completely out of whack. Our friends on the red hat side don't understand that while prices can increase infinitely, that income does not.
