Tariff Man and his tariff plan cause market plunges

I know who he’s talking about.

The counter point is there’s a group of Trump supporters that have never had it better.

Hope everyone's enjoying the death of the de minimis exemption thanks to Tariffman

The Dow is above 45,000. That’s 9,000 higher than pre Covid. As far as the market, Trump has been a success so far. That’s where the greed in me overrides my dislike of Trump. This guy loves it!!

A good read as fears of stagflation rise due to Trump's tariffs

Despite Tariffman's claims that his tariffs add jobs, the U.S. is losing manufacturing jobs at the moment.

12k since Aug and we've seen 42k lost since April

Are you guys really so obtuse on the founders and the intentions of tariffs coming from SPECIFICALLY from congress to the betterment of it's citizens vs the capitalists who ride on our backs??

You know- they're the ones who are truly getting fucked over by tariffs where as CHINA decided to nix buying 2 billion in soybeans alone. Add in corn, pork and the rest of the commodities that other countries are NOT buying----and you get a sense of who's getting fucked. It's not the commodities dudes. It's the people who truly work for what they got.

That has nothing to do with the question I asked. How are we defining one who “works for a living”, in the context the op used it, in this century.
