If the 27 year makes more than $64,000 than his premium will be $124. There is no employer involved in this quote. It is a quote from the government exchange.

which will lower the premium to around $90.00 per month which is affordable. If this person needs his appendix to come out he will be covered, instead of leaving the hospital with a $80,000 bill.
