I just assume that those got confiscated, and posted right on ebay/Chinese Craigslist the moment that plane took off.

Now, they've changed the timeline again:
" Officials revealed a new timeline Monday suggesting the final voice transmission from the cockpit of the missing Malaysian plane may have occurred before any of its communications systems were disabled, adding more uncertainty about who aboard might have been to blame."

The officials over there can't seem to get things straight in order to start correctly from the beginning. Now they've got Australia scouring the entire southern Indian Ocean which is a huge, huge amount of ocean.

Having this situation be some sort of international terrorist type of situation, or some nefarious plan by the pilots, just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

In the hotel lobby this morning, while trying to get some coffee (damn boutique hotels. Not what they used to be.), there were news shows discussing different options and I couldn't help but watch.

But most of those flight paths that were being mentioned (and I'm speaking as a VERY casual observer, not paying too close attention) were over the water.

Oh ... for the grammar Nazi's out there ... you'll be able to find a LOT of mistakes with this text, comma splices and the lot ... this morning.
