Why no blacks

Before I congratulate you JR, just a few simple questions.

You have claimed to be 70 years old. You said in another thread that you quit using shaving cream 50 years ago. I'm not great at math but since this is 2015 and you claim to be 70, that means by my calculations that you were born in 1945. Assuming this to be true, how old were you when you marched in the "50's"? In 1950 you would have been 5, in 1959 you would be marching at the ripe old age of 14. While we're at it, in what city and state did these "marches" you claim to have been in take place? What was the name of the "cafe" and where was it located?

Last question JR..

Was BRIAN WILLIAMS in these marches with you? Originally Posted by malwoody

I was born in 1943, which means that when I started high school (1955) the cafe was somewhere near Bagnell Dam on the Lake of the Ozarks.
My personal opinion of Brian Williams will not be stated here because I can not find anything nice to say about him

I remember, and participated in, the civil rights marches of the 50's and 60's.

In rural schools, elementary school was from first to sixth grade. High school was from seventh to twelfth grade.

I graduated from sixth grade in 1989 at age 12. Under that system, I would have started high school that fall still being age 12.
