Pretty boy, we are talking a top 5 college here not high school. You don't get paid 5 million a year to wait for rebuilding and have back to back losing records. Name a top 5 paid college football coach that has taken that long for rebuilding and kept his job. It's not rocket science Originally Posted by Passion2015Just what I thought. broken record ain't he------and btw Mack was at least 8-5 and he too beat Oklahoma his last year Originally Posted by plow44I like Mack Brown but you do realize he went 5-7, 8-5, 9-4 and 8-5 after losing to Alabama in the 2009 National Championship game. I remember when OU whipped Texas 63-21 and 55-17 the two previous years before and the game was over by half time. I also remember when K-state would call Texas players soft and said they had no heart.
Pretty boy, heart don't win football games. Touchdowns and points that are higher than the team your playing at the end of the 4th quarter is what wins football games. I understand your one of those die hard gans that just continue to make excuses of why their favorite and only team is losing. Reality, is UT now has back to back losing records and didn't even make a bowl game and guess what? There are teams out there that had a losing record and still made a bowl. What's your excuse on that one? I'm sure you have one Originally Posted by Passion2015It's called rebuild. Look up the definition. Oh, by the way pretty boy Texas ranked 4th for relying on the most freshmen this year. That was behind Clemson, Penn State, and Tennessee. Texas was 4th with USC 5th. Do I need to say more? The season 1956 keeps coming up as our last real shit time. When was the last time we had back to back loosing seasons? With a tough preconference schedule next year we could 3 peat. When your best players are Freshmen and Sophomores, there is no way you are going to shutdown high powered offenses. I've played enough football to know you cant expect kids who were playing High School last year to be consistent and play mistake free football. It's not going to happen.
