I'm not overly sensitive. I don't mind the times hooker and whore -- I use them myself in a lighthearted manner. Not a fan of funnel and hook. It seems when those words are used its always in a degrading manner. Don't get me wrong, I can get into degradation. But not from random strangers on the Internet who think they're better than I am.

I truly believe BBG was only trying to help. She's a sweet girl but tells it like it is. You have every right to defend yourself in an open forum. No one's disagreeing about that. It's just it seems maybe your responses are doing more harm than good. Someone was "bashing" you and then you start mentioning clients marital status and personal experiences with other clients. Even a lot of your own personal information. That's your right to do so but if numerous ppl say maybe you shouldn't then maybe they're on to something. Many guys have even mentioned your behavior would make them not want to see you. I can respect standing up for what you believe in n if you feel it's worth it then it's the right choice for you, hun! But saying you wouldn't give BBG references anymore is a bit too far (in my eyes, but my opinion is just that. My opinion). You don't have to like someone to still want them to be safe. BBG is amazing with responding quickly and if I ever needed advice I know she'd be one to give honest, blunt advice. That's rare these days n very valuable! She may be new but she's a great resource in this community.

You have to do what's right for YOU n clearly you feel you have so I guess that's all that matters. I have no doubt you're a great provider but your responses may prevent others from giving you a chance to show them that. This is a customer service industry! Yes, we can refuse anyone service and have a right to defend ourselves but attitude is everything. Service is everything. Anything dealing with ppl n customer service will be trying at times but you can't go full throttle over every negative thing said. Not everyone will always like us n that's OK. Ppl will disagree with us n that's OK too. You can disagree but still get along. I respect you defending yourself but I can't respect that you can't handle ppl disagreeing with you.

You have a gift for conciliation. I'd much rather look at you than Judge Judy!
