Style points matter come playoffs. Attempting FG off turnovers translates to losses against the best teams. Tampa is fools gold. Originally Posted by Boltfan

And I also agree, settling for FG's will eventually get you beat come playoff time. Six attempts (by Bailey last night) was a lot; as it turned out in the case of playing Tampa, this wasn't an issue & didn't cost the Cowboys the victory.

It will though (be and issue) when Dallas plays teams like Atlanta, Seattle or the Giants (again) in post-season. Garrett may eventually be facing some tough decisions (ie: 4th and one...go for it in hopes of scoring a TD..?...or kick the sure 3-pointer?)
Nope. Vegas. Once my GPS shows i am in NV I can wager. Originally Posted by Boltfan

The boys win again, I wanna see Romo start next game, he's looking like a sad puppy keeping the bench warm every game.

What's crazy is Homo I mean Romo is still top 5 qb in the league. Can't wait till he plays for another team.

I wouldn't say he top 5 but he definitely top 10. But yeah put him on Denver or Buffalo and they are a instant contender. As for dem Boyz, superbowl or bust baby!!

Whatsmore....

.....Denver needs more than just a capable qb to be relevant again.....they need to shore up that O-line while receiving a serious injection of talent at the rb slot, as well.

Denver, as of week 16, ranks 28th in the NFL in rushing the ball (ie: a paltry 89 ypg / 3.6 ypc). Dallas on the flip side ranks #2 in rushing: 155 ypg combined with a healthy 4.9 yards-per-carry.

The Cowboys have scored 24 rushing TD's to date....the Broncs?....only 10. That's double the NY Giants, of course....but see how far they end up going in the playoffs based on Eli to OBJ twenty-plus times a game, hmmm?

It's been often said, a QB's "best friend" is a great running attack; ie, see the success of rookie QB Dak Prescott based on handing the ball off to Zeke da Freak. BOTH obviously benefit from that fantastic O-line that controls the trenches.

Romo might succeed if he is shipped off to Mile High.....but he ain't taking Zeke and Zak and Tyron and Travis, etc with him. John Elway has a lotta work to do in the off season if he's to get Denver back on top again. Oakland and Kansas City aren't going away anytime soon.

the scam is in this morning.. playoff tickets on sale at 10:00.. nope.. all you get is the Ticketmaster bait-and-switch, for resale tickets.. regular tickets never went on sale.
I'm glad we're now at the point of splitting hairs (what should we do with Romo, rest vs rust, etc) as opposed to being an ESPN punchline.

I'm a BIGASS 'Boys fan, and want them to go as far as they can.

If we can avoid either or both ATL / GB, then I personally can't see any other team coming here and handing us an L if all of our important players are healthy...
