Personally do not think he wrote it, and analysts are also saying it likely was not him, just a PR move. He sure as hell isn't thankful for anything we had to give, as his sentiments towards the Spurs. Who knows, maybe he did write it. After all, its his family who is greedy going after commission checks for more sponsors in a bigger market. Thoughts? Dont care? Will be a very intersting game when Toronto visits here. He may manage to end up on the DL then too.

So the NBA schedule for all teams is supposed to be out late this afternoon ..... but it has been announced that on January 3rd the Raptors will make their only regular season visit to the AT&T Center ..... I wonder if that spineless weasel will be "injured" for that game, too? .....

Want to see the difference in a loyal player and a spineless one? Listen to the crowd for Leonard here in SA vs the one for Demar in Toronto. Will be night and day.

Lonnie took some time in the Silver and Black for photos recently. Looked pretty good. Can't wait to see the kid in action. Agreed with the article, likely not as much time in Austin as many of the rookies have had as of late. Dude needs a haircut though, lol.

Assuming Manu is coming back, site has him on the team until further notice. I have a feeling he's coming for one more year for Pop along with to mentor many of our new guys about the culture here.

Rosters can have 12 with 3 injured reserve for a total of 15. Still two slots, but likely wont be major signings due to cap. Will see what happens all the way up to trade deadline.

Bruce Bowan, TV analyst for the Clippers and former Spurs defensive specialist, was let go for his negative comments on the Kawhi Leonard situation. Stephen A Smith agrees with Bowan who still has a job. Looks like the Clippers are heavily in pursuit of our former player. Check the story here...

Anyone want to see him join Fox Sports Southwest? Personally, I wouldn't mind him doing pregame, half time and post game with Monoco and the Red Rocket (Matt Bonner).

According to a few sites this week, Spurs have the last spot reserved for Manu. According to Espn radio and a few others, we should hear by the end of the week if he shall be returning.

That is the day the Toronto Raptors come to San Antonio. If he shows up, Kawitter will be in the AT&T Center. Forbes wrote an article on how expensive this reunion will cost....

Believe me, I'm not going to forgo hobby money for this game. Hey, I'll even take a lady put for drinks/dinner to watch somewhere with fun after if they want to see the game. Money better spent!

But mark it on your calendars. Will be a game, whether you fork over 4 digits or 3 digits for seats or watch on TV, you do not want to miss this new found rivalry. Even if it's just for two games this year (more to be determined come playoffs or if Leonard stays in Toronto).

Reports today say that Manu is leaning towards retirement. Will have an answer in the next couple of days...

One of the most beloved Spurs of all time made it official today ..... Manu Ginobili has officially announced he is retiring ..... a sad day for Spurs fans but I think most of us knew this was coming, even though we hoped the outcome would be different .....

What a career for one of the best players who wore the Spurs uniform. Retiring after 16 awesome seasons. Easily my favorite Spur of all time. Wish him the best in his future.

Remembering Manu...

To fill the final roster spot with the need for 1 more player, the Spurs signed another vet who has been decent off the bench for the Pelicans and Memphis in recent past. Can play D, shoot the 3 ball, and fly for dunks.





This guy has killed us in the past. Will look forward to seeing this guy and the revamped squad.
