Will Rodgers announce he’s coming at McAfee’s event Wednesday?

I've thought about this and why don't they let Watt play out his final year and then franchise him if they want to keep him?I doubt they’ll do that. It makes sense, but they don’t want to have a pissed of TJ. I can’t figure out why Watt wouldn’t want to go to a SB contender at his age. His brother moved on from Houston.
Sitting out would get him nothing but another year older. Originally Posted by Iceman

I don't believe they will either. They worry too much about how a player feels instead of what's best for the team. They didn’t offer Troy or Ward new deals. They chose to retire. TJ isn’t ready to retire. They should have extended him last year if they wanted to keep him. Now it’s a lot more expensive. So, it comes down to if they’re willing to pay him 40 mill a year.
To most players it's strictly about the $. JJ didn't leave for a chance at a SB, he went where he got the most $. Originally Posted by Iceman
